Value for money, indeed! Excellent base location for Kosciuszko or surrounds. Great little motel, only 2 minutes walk to the centre of town. Free onsite parking and great WiFi. Included breakfast was great value. Continental only for summer months (when I was there). Clean and tidy. Nice staff. Excellent shared kitchen and laundry for cooking/cleaning/washing etc. Perfect for solo traveller but big enough room for 2.

Not soundproof at all. Only minor worry if you're a light sleeper like I am. I'd recommend earplugs. Could hear folks above walking around, shutting doors, flushing the toilet, taking a shower with noisy taps. Also, the beds were not great - mattresses were old and sunken, and I spent the whole night rolling to one side. Tried the other side of the bed, and it was the same. Keep in mind that I paid for basic lower floor room, so I'd imagine anything superior would not have this issue (I hope).

Centrally located and great base for Kosciusko (note: "Koh-schoosh-koh", not Australian's "Koh-see-us-koh"). Owner Claire and all the staff I interacted with were very nice. The wombat king 5-dollar is an amusing touch. Good barista/cafe drink for morning, and the homemade soap & shampoo are fragrant.

Breakfast can be rather limited to be honest. Be aware that the inn while cozy is on the smaller side. Can't think of anything else. Food in this area/town isn't its strong suit at all, but I recommend going to Mooses Taphouse for at least something comparable to quality.

What great value! Close to town with a view over the lake, and everything you need for a comfortable stay - handy parking, great bathroom products, comfy bedding, towels and pillows, fast wi-fi, a smart TV, self-catering kitchen, laundry and drying room, and an excellent continental breakfast every morning. They even offer yoga classes and have a restaurant. I'll definitely be back to stay here on my next work trip or to experience the trails or snow.

We booked the jindy inn for about 11 of us, for a 50th anniversary, 6 rooms in total, would they be able to handle all of us, and most importantly would they impress all of us. We had the best night at the jindy inn, everyone was so impressed, we chatted in the lounge/eatery in the evening, and morning, a very relaxing place. The rooms were excellent, clean, bathrooms modern, beds made and even a little area outside which impressed one in the group who smokes, with a sitting area and ashtray. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, fresh and inviting. We loved it all, and the friendly staff. Excellent

Great motel located in Jindabyne for our two night stay to catch up with friends. The included breakfast (cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt, coffee/tea) was perfect and was situated in a nice breakfast room with a great view. The motel was clean, nicely decorated and had great facilities if you were staying longer (ie self use kitchen, laundry facilities). The motel also hosts yoga classes which unfortunately we did not have the time to join. Overall a great stay.

The King bed in our room was too soft and saggy and needed replacing which I have brought to the Management's attention. The additional single bed in the room was very comfortable.

The whole inn is so cozy and comfy and homey! Not only the decorations (pictures and wooden decor) that support local artists showing beautiful local animals and birds, but the room also smells so nice with locally made soaps and lotions with nature's scents (you can buy it from the receptionist too!). The room's very spacious, great balcony, super clean, huge bed. But the highlights were the art works and the Botanical Trader soap, shampoo and lotion. So luxurios for us. Absolutely loved it!

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast is good, but not cooked in the summer season for those who like that. There's a good shared kitchen area with microwave and stoves, fridge and all utensils, crockery and cutlery. Parking is on-site and free. Jindy Inn offers a 10% discount for return customers. The rates are good value for money compared to other options in Jindabyne.

Jindy Inn overlooks the main road through the town, so there's a bit of traffic noise, but it's only mildly obtrusive. On the other hand, over the road is the lake, so you can get views of that from the 1st and second floor balconies.

Great room downstairs - glad of that at my age and not having to lug the case upstairs. Everything I needed was in the room and there was a communal kitchen for guests if needed. Superb buffet breakfast available. Hosts were a fund of local knowledge and suggestions on what to see and do for an elderly chap.

Not that easy to spot the motel and took me a couple of drives along the street before I spotted it. Made a suggestion to the hosts.

Jindabyne Jindy Inn 12-13 March 2024 Booked a standard room with a booking site. It was a non refundable rate of $135 including breakfast. On site parking & access to reception is at the rear off Clyde St. Check in was easy, professional & good info given. Thoughtful recommendations were given for dinner options. The recommendation we chose was an Italian restaurant we could walk to & it was excellent. We were allocated Room 7 along the corridor on the same level as reception & breakfast room. It was a hot day & the air con was thoughtfully turned on for us. Our room was a good size with a king bed & a single. Both were very comfortable. The air con is relatively quiet & wifi is free & fast. There's a fridge ( no freezer section) & a courtesy tray. We had a balcony with views of the lake with outdoor furniture. This faces the Koscuisko Way. You can hear the traffic thro the day, but it eases through the night, & starts up again early in the morning. It is not noticeable if the window is closed, so the air con needs to be on The ensuite is small but works well. The toilettries provided are very good, provided in plunger bottles & the shower was excellent. There is a step over a hob. Breakfast, which is incl in the room rate, is held in the dining room just off reception & available from 7-9am. What a generous spread- Juices, yogurt, cereals, various breads, just baked goodies, tea & coffees. The staff we encountered were very friendly & helpful. Our stay at Jindy Inn was enjoyable with the highlights being the staff & the generous breakfast. We would recommend staying here

The room was very clean and a good size. The beds were both very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The included continental breakfast was nice and easy. The barista coffee was great. Straight across from Lake Jindabyne and an easy 30 min drive to Thredbo and Kosciusko.

The only minor thing was that the TV only had regular channels and guests were unable to log into any streaming services.
