The hotel is set in a beautiful rural location, 15 min drive from Ronda. The grounds are gorgeous and the swimming pool area is very calm and peaceful. The food is excellent.

You have to be careful with your car tyres in certain parts of the car park, a little smoothing out of the ground would help. Whilst the food at dinner is excellent if the guests stay for a few days it would be good to have something a little less formal, so a choice of a more relaxed menu. We stayed for 4 nights and found the menu too intricate to eat there every night and the dining room lacked atmosphere whereas a less formal choice may have encouraged more guests to stay and eat there.

Hotel Molino del Arco is a 15-minute drive north of Ronda. You'll need a car and GPS to get there. Leaving the main road, you'll take a narrow, sometimes unpaved road. The hotel is set in the countryside, with beautiful views over the valley and mountains. It is a converted almazara, an olive oil mill. The Spanish word almazara comes from the Arabic al-mas'sara, meaning to extract. Centuries-old olive trees and vines surround the hotel building. The family that owns the hotel still produces olive oil. The accommodation is modern, comfortable and tastefully decorated, built hacienda style around a beautiful inner courtyard. We had two connecting double rooms. There's a large swimming pool for an afternoon dip after visiting touristy Ronda. The hotel has a large shady garden. We made friends with a young black cat adopted by the hotel, called Oreo. All the staff were friendly and professional. The multilingual reception staff were warm and friendly, offering service in English, French and Spanish, of course. Breakfast is excellent and the hotel serves Spanish cuisine for dinner, which is rare in hotels these days, if you don't want to drive at night to Ronda. Molino del Arco comes highly recommended. Don't rush your stay at this lovely place, try to spend at least three nights to enjoy a quiet break from the hectic life. And they have reliable Wi-Fi too.

The hotel was very comfortable with a large room (we had a junior suite), the bed and pillows were especially comfortable (the best part of the room). All very clean and good water pressure and plenty of hot water (another must for us). The hotel is exquisitely decorated. It is an impressive property inside and out. Very peaceful location. Love the grounds to relax outdoors and the honesty bar to make yourself a drink. The wine available per glass as well as the wine at dinner was great quality and price very reasonable.

Upon arrival the entry/exit to the car park could be better maintained. Our car is quite low, sporty model, so we had to manoeuvre very carefully over holes to not damage the car. We managed ok but this could be improved to not worry guests. Found the room rate and breakfast rate higher than I would usually pay so expectations were high. Considering the rate practiced the breakfast could be more varied and room could have a couple extra things that we missed: mini-fridge for our water bottles, tissues, a TV in the bedroom. There was a small TV in lounge which wasn’t so practical for us. Might consider some English channels if possible too.

We first stayed at this wonderful hotel nine years ago, and we were immediately struck by its beauty, warmth, and the incredible hospitality of the staff. There’s something truly special about this place — from the cleanliness to the comfort, it gives you the feeling of being at home the moment you arrive. Returning after all these years, we were thrilled to find that the magic is still very much alive. Christina, who looked after us so warmly during our first visit, welcomed us again and made us feel like family. We had originally only booked one night, but within hours we knew we had to extend our stay — we ended up staying three nights and rearranging the rest of our plans just to spend more time here. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s an experience of genuine care, peace, and comfort that stays with you long after you leave. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our return so special. We hope to be back again much sooner next time!

Beautiful country-side hotel about 3 miles north of Ronda. Lovely facilities with extensive garden, patios and three swimming pools (1 large and 2 small). Extensive free parking on site and only a short drive to Ronda and its attractions. Public parking in Ronda was easy (in June!!). Lovely helpful staff and a good breakfast if you take that option.

The only slightly adverse point for us is that the restaurant, albeit lovely with great food, was a bit pricy we thought, compared to other restaurants we visited in Andelusia.

Slightly difficult to find at first however once you arrive - it is simply a lovely place to be. The gardens are lovely and so relaxing. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Hotel itself is beautiful with old antiques furniture and books/art on display. The food is fantastic quality - slightly on the pricey side however I got dinner bed and breakfast and felt like it represented good value for money given the quality.

Unfortunately the pool was closed but they had a smaller one which they opened up.

The staff were amazing, always willing to help and made us feel very welcomed. The surrounding is gorgeous. The room is tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable. They didn’t have a Spa but made the effort to order a masseuse to the room and it was perfect. The food at dinner was spectacular. The breakfast was also good.

A coffee machine and a kettle in the room to make some coffee or tea would be nice. The pool was empty. We would have used it, seems lovely.

Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Room was beautiful, with shutters on windows it was so dark. Air conditioning great. Restaurant was amazing. Breakfast was table service, fresh yogurt home made jam local honey as well as cooked breakfast. Coffee was delicious. We stayed 1/2 board and the evening meal was delicious too.

As with all places no tea/coffee making facilities in room although there is in guest lounge with an honest box system

We decided to stay outside or Ronda because we had a rental car and this was the best decision we made. The hotel property is incredible and it was a nice to be able to walk around the gardens. We loved the living room area of the main building and the honesty bar. The staff were so kind and helpful with food recommendations in the area. We look forward to returning to this part of Spain and the Hotel Boutique Molino del Arco!

a charming boutique hotel in the countryside with a beautiful garden, fishpond, and generous swimmiingpool area. Very personalized service, the brother of the owner is very helpful and friendly. Food is all homemade, marmelade, honey , freshly pressed orangejuice. Dinner was excellent with fresh products. The place is ideal to relax and just feel at home far from home. The best place I ve been to so far. Charming.
