I booked this property online, and the process was very simple. The facilities at the property were very good although I found the lack of internet disappointing. The owners did however caution us before booking that internet service might be a problem due to the remote location of the property. The compendium containing information about the property and local services was very detailed. The villa was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The property is located close to everything Port Arthur has to offer including the Port Arthur Historic Site. The villa provided excellent value for money.

The lack of internet facility.

Loved how quiet it was! We're from Sydney and this was a paradise! The room was clean and tidy, the hot water was almost instant! The air con in the room cooled the room nicely when needed. It will always be a stand out stay for us because we got engaged while standing out looking at the moon!

The only thing I didn't like was that there was no one available at any time. I know that there is only a small team available but without that human contact I had no idea how to organise an upgraded room once we arrived and realised that we'd booked the smaller of what is available. I probably should have called the number to see if anything could have been done, but my partner decided the current room was okay.

In a quiet area, had all we needed. There was a noisy pump but the owner was helpful: he checked after a late call from us (nearly 10pm) and was kind enough to ring back. When I called the lady was friendly.

The noise persisted at times. The bathroom window had a little section as ventilation permanently opened, it would be very cold in cooler weather and is unnecessary as there’s an exhaust fan. Only one tactic heater working (on the same switch as the heater?!) An electrical wire was exposed in the wardrobe: needs fixing.

Great modern self-contained units, not far from the Port Arthur site. We were there on the cusp of the cool weather so were informed there would be reduced staffing. A contact number was provided if we needed anything but we self checked-in and out. We were the only ones staying at the accommodation so very quiet. We really enjoyed the property and no staff was not an issue at all. Thank you.

Close to Port Arthur, and walked to dinner over the road which was handy. Maytag washing machine & drier $4 per load each great to have use of… washing powder supplied 🤩 Good TV and pretty good WiFi too. Self contained with little kitchen, fridge and many if the bits and pieces needed in the kitchen supplied. Love the fact they use re-usable soap, shampoo & conditioner rather than little bottles. Rabbits in the backyard… very sweet.

Often no one in the office… you’ll need to call… but they do answer quickly. Honestly not wanting to be nitpicky but some of the brochures in the apartment/unit were irrelevant eg Adelaide.. but otherwise such a great value place to stay.

Newish property. Lovely unit. Great location - only 5mins drive from both my booked activities. Port Arthur & Tasman Cruise.

Unit not serviced. Doesn't have to be full service but I would have liked the rubbish emptied and fresh towels. I was starting to run out of toilet paper - lucky I didn't. I used the laundry facilities- these were a little on the old and dirty side but did the job.

Convenient to Port Arthur Convict settlement. Self catering and fully equipped modern kitchen though we didn't cook. It was well heated, bathroom was modern.

Two light/ heating bathroom globes were burnt out. Toilet wasn't entirely cleaned( grimy beneath the toilet seat where someone had an accident).Water leaks from the shower door.

It was comfortable.

There was a sign telling guests that a fine of $20 would be charged if used utensils were not cleaned properly; yet, we found a very dirty frying pan and the cups stuck to the drawer surface! If the objective is to pay less for cleaning staff, then at least have them check all kitchen items actually are clean, not just put away dirty!

Great location- 5mins to the Port Arthur Historic site and nearby dining locations. The 2 bed villa was self contained, with the kitchen including a stove, full sized fridge and microwave. Towels were soft and fluffy in the bathroom.

Lounges might be a little small if you had 4 adults staying.

The location and good self catering facilities

The fact that it is so impersonal. No staff on the property and it gives the impression it is purely a business enterprise. The garden also needs some care and looks neglected. Did see two chaps but they didn’t say hello or make any acknowledgment to their guests.
