- The 2 sockets near both sides of the bed in Room 2 are not working - Might not be fit for light sleepers due to lack of soundproofing on the windows and door - The Air-con is a bit weak and lacks a cooling function

Location was great. Everything you need very close by: bottle shop, restaurants, shopping centres with major grocery shops. Was not expecting too much from this property however it did surprise. Although there are busy roads nearby there was surprisingly very little noise outside of peak traffic hours. Rooms were large with plenty of space, sofa, TV, fridge and table and chairs. Exceptionally clean. Beds were ok. Spare blankets, pillows and towels provided. Tea, coffee,kettle and toaster supplied with very clean glasses, cups, crockery & cutlery. Good shower with toiletries supplied. Checking in was a bit confusing, as the hotel is being renovated and there was no distinct signs directing you to the area that was open to check in, which was at the bar but we got there in the end. The rooms are not attached to hotel they are in a separate 2 story complex on the opposite side of the car park.

Location was great for us! The size of the room was excellent. 4 out of 5 nights it was really quite. The view onto the storm water wetlands and Mt Wellington was lovely and contrasted with the entry side which is a Carpark. Shower and hot water all great. Room facilities excellent. And most importantly the Ramen bar downstairs was outstanding. We ate there 5 nights in a row. Delicious soups and reasonably priced. SO GOOD!

It probably needs the entrance area walls of the room painted as it is getting pretty marked. The strong smell of chemicals or air freshener wasn’t great as we are allergic to such. But we had a purifier so were sorted.

Kingston Hotel is our go to stay when in the Hobart area. It is very quiet yet conveniently near supermarkets, shopping centres, hotels and places to dine, all within walking distance. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are extremely clean. Tea, coffee etc supplied and there is a small fridge in each room. Basic but really good, clean and comfortable accommodation. At least one room has disabled facilities (parking, accessible bathroom, wider doors etc. with plenty of room for wheelchairs).

The rooms are very big, a lot of space. Bathrooms and toilets also have big space. We liked it. Also, every room has a sofa to sit and watch TV. TVs are also smart TV so we can watch online TV programs. We stayed in two hotels before this hotel and it weren't as good as this hotel.

TV in my room (room 14) is too small. Air Conditioner is very old, didn't work properly. Made very loud noise. Some items should be newer, for example, microwave, air conditioner.

The whole unit was just beautiful and modern. The space is amazing. Bathroom just awesome and I just love the soap and shampoo / conditioner bottle idea 🤩no more empty packaging or fighting over the conditioner. Loved it. 🥰 Plus nearly forgot got a great online deal . Cheap and affordable.. lol do they do longer stays like hook me up. Thanks I loved this hotel too. One that made me feel like I just want to move in Permanent. Lucky I wasn't 🤔the new local Squatter 😏😉

Pleasant quiet location. Room adequate size and clean.

No proper reception and had to go to bar of hotel where staff not fully informative. I asked about the parking but the staff were not able to fully explain. ( It appears the parking is shared by the adjancet shops with a 3 hours limit but the voucher given seems to mean you are no longer subject to the 3 hour limite. This could have been explained.)

Location great. Very close to shopping facilities and restaurants. Walking distance to both. Room was nice and clean except for what seemed to be a hair dye stain on the toilet seat. I'd blame a naughty guest for that. Bed was a standard double and ok. Staff were nice and the whole process of check in and out was really easy. Would stay again.

The room was incredibly large (would have fit another Queen bed in)! Close to other shops (Coles was on next block within 5 min walk) Kingston Hotel appeared to be very new or renovated, but either way it was well done! Looked fantastic. Meals were very good and friendly helpful staff. You need to go to the Hotel to check in as the rooms are separate, which helped to have a super quiet evening.

Surprisingly good affordable accommodation. Less noise than expected considering it is on a retail park. Comfortable bed. Clean. Well equipped. Great location for travelling down the coast and visiting Bruny Island. Plenty of facilities on the doorstep. Nice town.

Had to wash up in the bathroom sink. Didn't seem very hygienic. Would have liked a small washing up bowl.
