Stayed at this location for 4 weeks and it was absolutely amazing. My apartment had a small kitchen with a fridge/freezer, cooking plate, kettle, and a nice bar area. There are rooms that look similar but don't have a kitchen to cook so make sure you book the right one. The apartment is rather large. It had a nice living room with couch and chairs, a balcony with view of the pool, a nice bathroom, and a large bedroom with 2 single beds. No A/C, not needed. Check-in was easy. The staff was very friendly and very professional. Wifi in the property works well. There is a wifi router in the room for a strong signal. Data speeds are at least 40Mbps up and down. The pool area is amazing. There are sunbeds and shades. I particularly like the decors aroung the pool area like some mosaic lizards. On the buildings across from me are murals of all the canary islands. There are different decor elements throughout the property. It's very playful. I want to specifically thank the maintenance staff and cleaning staff. The style of the apartment is a 60s/70s vibe and it is possible the decor and furniture is actually that old. However, it is very very well maintained. The normal wear and tear you would find at other properties of this kind is not there. Someone really takes the time to make it look gorgeous. It's a vibe. Weekly cleaning service was included. It was done very well with new fresh sheets, towels, and sometimes a cookie or chocolate on the pillow. Amazing. There is a gym on the property, library, spa, and playroom for kids. There is also a full restaurant by the pool. Plenty of free street parking, coin laundry. There are two clothes lines on the balcony. I was initially worried that this corner of the island would be basic and boring. It was not. There is a small grocery store up the street that sells fresh bread and croissants daily. My favorite part was to dip on the natural saltwater pool that is a 5 minute walk away.

In 2023, a non-smart TV is not passable no more haha Maybe it's part of the "get away from it all" vibe, I don't know. I'm sad I had to leave.

- The renovated room was perfect, much better than expected after seeing photos and reading comments. I didn't see the old rooms though. - The dinners were awesome, best restaurant in town. Recommended to book half pension for sure! Breakfast was just ok. - Free safe/lock, and good size fridge. - Nice garden and quiet swimming pool. - Hotel employees were all very nice, helpful and caring. - Everything in the hotel/resort works fine. It makes it feel very relaxing. Totally worth it! Better than the 4 stars hotel also in this location (we tried it the year before). I actually wonder why they don't get 4 stars.

They should add blinds to the bedroom window (s). Better coffee and juices at breakfast would be nice.

Accessible location on foot and by bus (nearby bus stops no more than 2 blocks away). Spacious, comfortable rooms with daily cleaning Terrace overlooking the garden (very well kept) Basic kitchen utensils available with refrigerator, make you feel at home. On one occasion we could hear the noise of the neighbors during the night and we had to move to the living room to sleep, taking advantage of the extra bed in the living room. We also had to close the door to the terrace on several occasions due to the cigarette smoke that some of the neighboring guests were smoking, even though the rules indicated no smoking on the premises. It seems to me that you could also think about air conditioning or fans in the rooms that could help with the summer heat.

This was my second stay and I was very pleased with the Standard apartment! Room 64 had great views from the balcony of the resort, mountains and coastline of Punta de Hidalgo. Breakfast options were great! Especially for people who like hiking and love healthy options. Pool was clean, big enough and heaten up by the sun in June. Comfortable temperature to swim. Location is perfect! Easy to reach by public transport with line 50. Staff is friendly at reception and restaurant. As well as housekeeping and maintanance workers. Food choices at the restaurant are really good! I will return as I live on the island and like to visit Anaga rural park for hiking while relaxing at the same time. Price quality is very good!

We stayed one night only in the north to visit the Anaga forest. The staff was exceptionally helpful and nice. The breakfast was really nice, one of the best guacamole I’ve had. The area around the pool with flowers is very beautiful. The room was clean, the only minus is the old-fashioned/ rustic style, but nothing wrong with it, it may be a plus for some as it feels more authentic. One of the best restaurants on the island is around there. A local, or touristy vibe in the area.

The water in the pool was really cold. We didn’t look for a beach around, not sure if there is one. Furniture and appliances a bit outdated, but all working and fine.

Loved the location. The hotel is located in a small town Punta del Hidalgo, which, at first, seemed a bit off the beaten path. However, upon my arrival by bus I was amazed by the views over mountains and the ocean just around the corner. The hotel is located mid-way a street that leads either up to the mountains or down the seaside. An absolutely gorgeous location. The staff were friendly and attentive. I felt welcome and my requests were handled well. It was really lovely to note that the staff members can speak several foreign languages (English, German) well. The rooms are spacious mini-apartments with a wooden decor with a fridge, coffee-machine, some plates and glasses, a Tv, a large bed, a lot of clean towels, a spacious bathroom with a bath tube, etc. The food in the restaurant was good and they have some local vines and dishes in the menu. Definitely recommended to try some local vines. The staff at the restaurant is very nice and attentive. I may have even missed some nice things while being on a rush during the last day of staying there, but the breakfast (included) was good.

Honestly, I loved everything about staying in this place. Wish the holidays were a bit longer. :)

Lovely family run hotel, very well managed and in a super location. Was really impressed. Nice staff, good food (inc. Vegan/ vegetarian), lovely gardens, and just a good, happy vibe to the place. The best thing for me was that the family and standard rooms have been immaculately kept with original fittings for around 50 years. It's why we chose this hotel, and most hotels with original 70s 80s interiors are frankly tired and grimy. Not this one. It was like somebody had pressed a button in 1985 and retained a pristine interior and all the fittings. There are contemporary premium refitted rooms, but really, book one of the originals. There are few places left in Europe where you can experience such a thing in a (very) clean,comfortable environment.

Would have been nice if the coffee pods for the in-room Dolce Gusto were topped up daily, but you can buy them in the local shop, as we did.

The breakfast is decent. The coffee is not great. There are some vegetables and fruits and lot of pastry and meat. Very nice view, actually amazing with see and sunset and palms. It is close to turistic areas and to the beach. It is not a modern location but actually you have everything and decent. The fridge is a little noisy but acceptable. The bed is large and comfy. The bathroom is old style but everything is working

Of course the rooms are a bit old-fashioned but still in very good condition, well-maintained, clean and and neatly taken care of. The staff is extraordinarily nice and always had smile for us and our little son. The layout of the hotel with the rooms being located around the pool and the ocean to be seen in the distance gives you this special feeling of vacation. Breakfast was always filled up and with enough variety to choose from. Prices for dinner in the restaurant were reasonable and fair and if you wanted to eat outside there are plenty of restaurants in a walking distance. We totally enjoyed our stay!
