The location of the hotel, the very beautiful and pleasant common spaces, the bar staff extremely friendly and the lady at the reception desk at check-out extremely pleasant and efficient.

The view from the room was not pleasant, there was no kettle in the room, we had to ask for it. Upon request, the kettle was brought without tea or coffee bags. There was no soap at the bathroom sink, only in the shower there were dispensers fixed to the wall for shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion, which was extraordinary. To wash your hands you had to use some of the products mentioned and you had to get into the bathtub to get to them. The free bottle of water was only on the first day.

The deluxe rooms in the annexe, the bar area, the staff, the rooftop pool and lounging area. Did I mention the staff? Great people. We parked in the nearby municipal car park for 7.5 euros overnight, 125 metres away from the hotel. Garage parking is available at the hotel for 12 euros per night but we overshot the hotel on our first pass, missing the garage entrance, leading us to discover the municipal car park.

Rooms 4-8 in the old part of the hotel suffer from excessive street noise and really shouldn’t be sold to anyone without significant hearing loss. We were assigned one of these rooms and had to move out to a modern room after one night without sleep. The staff dealt with it very professionally, I have nothing but praise for them and I have rated the hotel in line with our experience after moving rooms, if we had not been able to move rooms my rating would have been ‘Terrible’

Lack of information about hotel facilities. There was nothing in the room to say how to get towels for swimming or how to get anything for the room that was missing. The room wasn't ready when we arrived. There was no tea or coffee making facilities or soap at the bathroom sink. The breakfast area was too small for the number of people using it. There was too few staff at breakfast time which resulted in waits for orange juice machine to be reloaded, waits for eggs to be replenished, tables to be cleared. The coffee machines in the breakfast area were too slow The breakfast food was generally good but was extremely limited for plant based menu.

What a little gem....a brilliant hotel in the heart of La Laguna and it's wonderful historic centre. The room was large, clean, and really comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent and a 3 course meal with bread, water and coffee was €19 a head. The hotel has a wonderful roof terrace that hosts a well equipped gym and a marvellous out door pool. The staff were brilliant - friendly and helpful.

Location is excellent. Reception staff friendly, check in efficient with registering online. Hotel facilities are kept very clean, including toilets in lounge and pool area. Breakfast offering has a good variety. The beds were comfortable, and a request for close location of 2 rooms was honoured.

Local staff helpful but some difficulty with language barrier during dinner service. No change to daily breakfast offering, but all produce felt fresh. Morning opening hours of gym could be earlier, i.e. 7:30am. A heated swimming pool during winter months would be welcome! These are all minor dislikes. The lounge area was relaxing but could offer more sockets for charging phones.

Large room, very comfortable beds, nice facilities overall, super clean, stylish lobby and inner garden. Good location. We got surprisingly good price for what the hotel has to offer.

Air conditioning was not working, in direct sunlight the room was getting very warm. Gym only opens from 9am, there was opened and re-sealed again bottle of water in minibar

We love this hotel and stay every year. Location and facilities are great and staff exceptional. Rooms are very comfortable. This year we were a party of three so had 2 rooms.

Individual soaps have been removed from the sink which we applaud but there isn’t a soap dispenser by the sink. To get soap you have to lean over the bath and use the soap dispenser on the back wall. This isn’t good for our backs and we all felt a strain on our backs. This needs to be remedied please with a dispenser specifically for the sink.

The location was fantastic for wandering around La Laguna and the views from the rooftop deck were incredible. They have lots of tables and chairs along with the pool lounge chairs up there so you can hang out and watch the sunset. The main lobby is also beautiful and lively and was a fun place to grab a tea or a glass of wine. The asian fusion restaurant that was in the same building, but may not have been affiliated with the hotel was delicious. They also have underground parking (paid) so that made it easy to have a car.

Not a big deal especially since there were great communal lounge spaces, but the view from the room was a big parking lot.

Staying at La Laguna Gran Hotel was an absolute delight. The moment we walked in, we were captivated by the charm of the historic building and its elegant design. Our room was cozy, spotless, and full of character. But the real gem was the rooftop — watching the sunset over the rooftops of La Laguna was pure magic. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town, yet peaceful and calm. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel truly cared for. We only stayed one night, but it left a lasting impression. Can’t wait to come back!

We were on 4 floor, on the roof, next to the pool and gym. There was a general feeling of untidiness, especially the astroturf on the terrace and the carpet leading to our room. There were some debris/papers next to the lift that remained throughout our 2-day stay. This was the most expensive place during our stay in Tenerife and did not seem worth it compared to other places where we stayed. The experience certainly did not match our expectations and would probably not stay again. Perhaps lower level rooms would feel more part of the hotel and less part of the service support areas.
