Patio Hostel is a great and very social place to stay. The patio and back yard are great places to hang out and make new friends. The staff are super friendly, and always happy to help. Beds are comfy, and the included breakfast is more than adequate, even offering homemade cake every day 😋

Nothing much not to like here. For some it might be worth noticing that there are only two bathrooms for the whole hostel. This was never an issue for me, but be aware that there might be a wait during rush hours. The staff really look after them throughout the day, and the bathrooms were always clean and inviting.

As good breakfast as can be managed for the money, enough variety for several days and a bonus yummy cake each day. Coffee and teas available throughout the whole day. Nice patio to chill or hang out with the other guests and the staff.

The hostel is run by volunteers and creates a community with the guests so expect cleaning dishes after yourself and being generally considerate of everyone else. If you are used to being served everything and not doing anything yourself, this hostel is not for you. Also, there are only 2 bathrooms for all the guests so you may need to wait your turn in the evenings when it gets busy.

This is a hostel you need to stay at! When you step inside they say: "welcome home" and from that moment you will feel like home! Super welcoming and helpful owners and volunteers, VERY clean (the volunteers clean multiple times a day the kitchen and the bathroom), very cozy patio to chill, eat and socialise, cute and delicious breakfast with homemade cake, hummus etc. the beds are comfortable, you can take water/beer anytime for 1€ out of the fridge... A LOT OF little things that make this hostel wonderful! Close to anaga nationalpark for hikes, 2min walk from a huge local market! Would 10000% come back!! Thanks for creating us backpackers a place we feel like home.

Patio Hostel in La Laguna is a gem for travelers seeking a warm, welcoming, and vibrant stay. The vibe, relaxed and inclusive atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home. The couple who run the hostel are present most of the time, ensuring everything runs smoothly and fostering a sense of community. The volunteers are very friendly as well, you always have someone to chat with if you want to. The patio itself is the heart of the hostel, everyone spends the most of their time there. For digital nomads, this is also a good choice. There are a few dedicated workspaces with good internet, making it easy to get things done, just keep in mind sometimes it can get busy as it is in the common area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a home-away-from-home in Tenerife!

Thank you Marina and all of the staff at Patio for being so welcoming and kind. I was greeted every time with a warm smile. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very much appreciated and they even offered to leave me breakfast out earlier than usual as I was checking out at 7 am. The location was close to shops and restaurants and a market just across the square. Beds were very comfortable and it was easy to meet people. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended. Love from Ireland.

The atmosphere was great, really nice vibe. They have a board to share plans with other guests. during the day you could see some people remote working at the patio or the couple of tables at the entrance.

So, I loved the place, the atmosphere, the staff, the only but is that they only have 2 bathrooms (were toilet and shower are together), so it can get a bit difficult to use the toilet when everyone needs to go. Apparently this is due to the house being a historical property, so they cannot reform it. :/

Such a lovely place! The titular patio + back garden are beautiful and great to hang around in. I got to pick the biggest lemon I'd ever seen off of their tree! The staff is super friendly and the breakfast was simple but fulfilling. La Laguna is a beautiful place as well and the hostel is easily within walking distance of the city centre and bus station. Can't believe you could get all this for a price like that!

The beds were pretty small for me (180 cm) but that seems to be the norm on the Canaries in general..

From the very first minutes I felt at home. The hostel is clean, cozy, and in a great location – everything you need is close by. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, which made my stay very comfortable. The host was super kind and helpful, always ready to give advice and share great tips about the city and Anaga Park. I really appreciated all the recommendations, they made my trip much easier and more enjoyable!

The location is super attractive, so easy to get there from the airport/La Laguna bus terminal. People welcoming you there are super hospitable, for the non-spanish speakers, they speak english too. Gisella and Mano (apologies if spelled incorrectly!) were great, made me feel there comfortable, showed around and there's some food and drinks for the residents thats included in the price :) I spent a night there only, but it surely is a spot to remember for any future trips to Tenerife. Thanks guys, youre doing a great job there and something to take pride in.

The hostel is extremely beautiful and very clean, and the staff is super helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring La Laguna and the rest of Tenerife. The building itself is historic, and it also has a very pretty kitchen and an amazing patio! The included breakfast is also nice.

A bit of noise coming from the traffic in the street, so bring earplugs and you'll be completely fine!
