We loved the amenities, the restaurant on site, the availability of Starbucks and light breakfast to go, the pool, the views of the lake and golf course, parking, comfortable beds, and having a mini fridge for our own snacks/drinks.

I didn't like that the hotel didn't offer complimentary water for guests, but charged $2 per bottle. Given the heat in SC, we had to go out and buy a case of water and lug it into the room, so it would be nice if each guest received at least a bottle per day or there was lemon/cucumber water and cups in the lobby for guests. I also think the lighting in the bathroom could be brighter and the bathroom updated to a lighter color, as it was too dark for us.

This is a reasonably-priced, nice hotel in the perfect location for Clemson University activities! While our room was not fancy, the bathroom looked as though it had been recently renovated, and it was comfortable for a quick stay. It is located within walking distance to the visitor center and just a quick drive to the campus. The hotel grounds, walking trails and pool are gorgeous (with beautiful views of Lake Hartwell and the golf course). There are 2 casual restaurants within walking distance and a small Starbucks on site.

Ideally, the carpet inside the room would be replaced with tile, etc. instead (it was dark and dingy; in need of deep cleaning or replacing). And, if you prefer a softer pillow, you may want to bring your own.

Beautiful, friendly, and clean.

No Restaurant or Bar after 930pm. Pool was dark until 9pm, tje light came on, and the pool closed. No food or drink options at night without leaving the property. It's not too convenient for late check-ins. . Snack Pantry was REALLY WEAK.

I didn’t see a swimming pool. So the front employees were terrific. I asked for assistance to keep flowers cool before checking in. They had solutions. We interacted with these same employees multiple times and their friendliness and responsiveness made the key difference in our stay. The grounds and adjoining center were lovely. We had coffee from the Starbucks and had brunch at Sole. I had a morning walk around the grounds and trail - lovely. We were in for Clemson’s ring ceremony but spent much of our time at hotel relaxing in room and common areas.

It was a terrific visit. Our room’s black curtain pull had issues/broken at the top so there was a gap which resulted in light in room while napping and sleeping. We could hear sounds from the hallway and neighbors.

Excellent location and amenities. I enjoyed having parking lot close to room as well. The easy access via the patio door was great.

The WiFi and TV satellite connection could improve a lot. Not having access to either more often than not made the stay not so great.

I loved the ample and convenient parking, the manicured grounds, the beautiful lake view, and the all-Clemson decor in the lobby and the suite. The desk clerk on the morning of November 25 and the housekeeper near suite 121 the same morning were exceptionally courteous and friendly. The fold-out sofa in the suite was wonderfully comfortable to sleep on.

The deadbolt lock was hard to operate on the patio door; I found trash from a previous guest under the fold-out sofa; both sheets for the fold-out sofa were ripped; there were not quite enough water and coffee cups for 4 people.

Slater at the front desk was BEYOND amazing! I cannot say enough good things about this property and the front desk staff. So glad we got to experience this beautiful facility!

Only complaint - would be no breakfast or vending machines. But I wouldn’t even call that a complaint.

Great location for visiting campus and golfing. Pool and restaurant on site were very inviting.

Rooms could be updated a bit. Very clean and well kept but dated

Walls were very thin - could hear a lot of noise from surrounding rooms and hallways. Mattresses could be upgraded - were not that comfortable.

I enjoyed the spacious rooms and friendly staff.

Kind of outdated gym facility, felt like working out in an office, but got the job done so not terrible.
