The location was fantastic, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff were professional and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. The room and hotel interiors were beautiful, and I especially loved the high ceilings, which made the space feel even more luxurious. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

I find fixed showerhead less convenient than a handheld option. Also the heating system is a bit noisy which might bother light sleepers.

Yes recently renovated, everything looked new, good location near grand central station. Stayed in a king/ deluxe room, the bed was huge and so comfortable. New water bottles every day. Very clean and lots of space.

Our room was near the stairwell and could hear noise in the mornings which we assume were staff coming in and out about 7am. False fire alarm went off for a few seconds one morning around 7.30am and then speaker to say it was false alarm.

It was great overall. The room was great. It was clean. The staff was great and helpful. The location was great.

I wish there could have been room service options. I also wish the stay had an included breakfast option also an early check-in without any extra charge. I lost my phone that day and was unable to utilise any hotel service. I wish that I could use the hotel phone or email to contact someone to help me out.

Loved the facilities, the location, the rooms were awesome Would definitely return We really loved a stones throw from grand central, not too far from Times Square & the convenient subways to visit New York was awesome. The artwork and cool chemistry references throughout the hotel is so great! Would definitely return when we head back to nyc

Really unfriendly check in. No “elevators this way”, “enjoy your stay” more “it’s this much per room per night, ok you’re set” Arriving late at night was like “welcome to nyc” Seemed to come from the top as the manager literally didn’t look up each time we entered the lobby. Jasmine was our fave and made our trip upon check out. Jasmine for manager!!!!

Beautifully restored building, comfortable lobby, lovely spacious room and bathroom. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed having the “extras” such as robes, slippers and—highly unusual for NY—complimentary snacks and soft drinks! Staff was helpful and pleasant, and we loved the jazz music in the lobby. Great location too. Right near Grand Central for food and shopping, within walking distance to many shops, museums and attractions.

Very few peeves: no washcloth- only a single black one, presumably for removing makeup. We requested a second one and received it only to have it taken away the next day by the cleaning staff. Also the sink water temperature was difficult to moderate, but the shower was fine. None of this was a big deal considering everything else was great.

I recently stayed at The Chemists Club Hotel with my girlfriend and had an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—every staff member was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay special. The room was beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and incredibly comfortable, still smelling fresh because the whole hotel just went into renovation. The attention to detail was impressive, from the luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities provided. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore manhattan, next to Grand Central. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we can’t wait to return and we will be back here for sure.

We stayed in newly renovated rooms, all clean and fresh. Much has been said about the renovation work that is going on, but we barely noticed it.

Water pressure in bathroom sink was poor (1007), window seal allowing cold air in (1008). Otherwise all fine.

The location next to Grand Central and Bryant Park was great as we were close to everything and always close to home when we needed to go back for a rest. Also the staff was friendly and helpful! Quiet room, no noise from street or neighbours!

The size of the bed was a bit small for two people and there was only nightstand and electric sockets on one side. It was also very dark as no light came thru the window. I suspect this was becouse there were scaffolding outside the window, but we couldn't see thru the window to confirm this. I hope it was temporarly. Felt like a basement. Other then that we didn't notice the renovation going on.

This hotel boasts a great location, making it easy to explore the city. The room and bathroom were spacious and very comfortable. We appreciated the mini-bar stocked with refreshing soft drinks.The selection of snacks, teas, and Nespresso coffee was a welcome touch. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Biggest thanks to Christopher (the concierge), as well as Amber and Uriel (from the front desk) for recomending, organising, and booking our excursions and restaurants 😊 We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
