We are travelling with two Weimaraner dogs and we need a nice spacious room and garden for dog walking. This hotel were perfect and looks better then on the photo. Private parking, Our room were spacious, comfortable beds, quiet, good strong shower , also there are enormous field for dogs can be off lead but sometimes there are local people with their dogs . Hotel grounds are fenced and got a beautiful garden where dogs allowed. Our room had an access straight to the garden very convenient. Friendly staff speak English, great food and service in the restaurant which has an indoor/ outdoor area and dogs allowed too..

The location is in the country outside Sasso Marconi and offers opportunities for walks along the river and in the local woods. There is a long distance footpath/cycle trail through the grounds. The restaurant was excellent with good, attentive service and excellent food well presented. The room offered country views and had a small balcony.

Don't follow satnav! Waze proposed a route that was long, twisting and rutted. It's better to drive past Marconi's mausoleum into the centre of Sasso Marconi then take a left turn following signs to the hotel. The route is better maintained and an easy drive.

We liked the fact that there was a good restaurant on site, so we didn't need to go out again for a meal. The hotel staff, when we finally met them, were super nice.

We had to use the self check in service as reception didn't open until 6.30. Therefore, we didn't receive any help carrying our suitcase up extremely steep stairs to our room. As we are in our seventies, it was difficult for us.

Easy arrival and check in. The staff were helpful and lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious

The rooms could have had a fridge/mini bar and a few more accessories to make it more cosy and add comfort. However for a quick stop over it was fine. The restaurant was great so it was easy to get a drink to take back to the room.

The place is embedded in an antique castle, so it’s pretty charming. Staff was really flexible and friendly. The breakfast was standard for Italy. The bed was confortable.

I wish there was more touristic information regarding the castle, everything else was good.

Quiet, semi-rural location. Room 14 in separate building, ground floor with large doors accessing garden area. Room is fresh and comfortable, high-end linens and comfortable bed. Totally beautiful setting! Restaurant is excellent but closed Tuesdays.

Unfortunately no laundry service available.

Had a lot of character. Staff was very nice. Good breakfast. Very picturesque.

Everything was great except for one little miscommunication when the front door got locked, but other than that, it was an amazing stay! Would stay again.

The location and room were lovely. We were able to check in early which was very helpful. The grounds are beautiful.

The air conditioner didn't really work. As it was during a heat wave we were very disappointed. I read that the restaurant was going to be open for lunch which it was not. This was inconvenient.

we chose this spot as our first night on the via degli dei, although most people would choose to push on a few km's and stay at a b&b further up the trail, but i have to say that the combination of super clean, modern, big rooms, and the outstanding restaurant, make this a smart choice. the praise from my wife and friends was well worth it. and as we left early for the trail, they gave us some boxes with cakes, cookies and fruit for the way.

Such a lovely place. We had a late arrival but were still kindly offered some drink and snack options by the wonderful staff. Breakfast was excellent too. We will be back. Grazie Mille.
