The young lady at the reception desk greeted us with a smile and advised us about the facilities like their restaurant and bar. This young lady was very professional and friendly and made us feel at home. She is the reason why we will be back. At check out this morning (Sunday) we were checked out by the hotel manager himself. He was very polite and validated our parking ticket which was nice of him. The Hotel is well run. We ordered some food from their restaurant and the two chefs on duty were great. The food was well presented and tasty. 8 out of 10!

Our suite was located on the 1st floor and was a non smoking floor. Some of the guests in other suites on our floor went out every 35 minutes to smoke causing a-lot of noise disturbance with the opening and closing of their doors. This went on until 1am in the morning. I do not blame the Hotel for this, but the guests themselves that should have booked their suites on the smoking floor as they do offer suites for smokers.

I would like to thank the staff at City Lodge GrandWest for their warm hospitality and friendliness during our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us with kindness and professionalism. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, making our stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated the atmosphere and the niceness of everyone we interacted with. Thank you again for making our stay a pleasant and memorable one!

The breakfast was amazing. We had the continental and were super impressed with the variety of healthy fresh food. This was a last minute booking the result of a delayed flight. We took a chance using. Booking.com just to find somewhere near the airport for 1 night at a reasonable price. Our expectations were low. We just wanted a bed after flying for 2 days from Canada. And so we were very very grateful for the warm welcome we received, the cozy, clean room and comfy bed. Also we were happy thantheee was a nice restaurant to have dinner as we were too tired to go anywhere else. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Thank you everyone!

It is so convenient for Grand West Arena which was our main reason for staying. It is also a good base. Its great to have the bar and restaurant on site, The staff are helpful as a whole however, get a bit lax when they are busy after a concert or show so more staff would be useful to help with service especially at the bar.

We had a few drinks at the bar one night and then the show finished in the arena and even though we were sitting at the bar for a couple of hours, we were totally ignored when the show goers came into the bar area, Due to lack of staff. Also we often come for concerts and now you can not book in advance for concert nights on booking.com, which is unacceptable.

Tiffany was very hospitable. The meet and greet was neutral, but the whole of reception area and F&B dep is warm, big shout out to the restaurant team for assisting with all requests! Hk is warm, I love the ladies Spirit of greetings. Pool was our fav.

Nothing much, the water flow from shower is a bit peculiar.. but ok. Telephone in the rooms would help but the instructions on the card, are ok! But for senior travellers.. not!

This is possibly our 10th stay here. Very nice location for music concerts. We came to see Sting this time. Staff are always friendly. I like the environmental updates made - providing a water filling station for a glass bottle and notifications in the bathroom about water and towels. I also noticed the upgrade with the electrical points.

The dining room area could do with a spring clean - lots of webs and dead flies on the windowsill. However, the bedroom and bathroom was spotless.

Front desk /reception all (men and woman) very friendly and process was handled very swift, thank you. Kitchen staff and food (ordered dinner - sit down) were great.

Plugs for phone charges, 2 point plugs please. The universal ones did not work. The kitchen staff was great, food well prepared (ordered dinner), BUT the waitresses' service is not on par (we were 4 tables at that stage). Waited some time before my order was taken and before my drink was served. Had to ask for salt and pepper.

Always great. Location is perfect if you enjoy the casino and plenty of restaurants open till late for delicious food. ATMs are a few steps away. Always parking available Infront of the Lodge. Staff are helpful and rooms are spotless.

The only thing that needs to be upgraded as a matter of urgency is the power outlet issue in the rooms. If you need to use your phone while it's charging and don't have a 3m cable, you will have to position yourself LITERALLY Infront of the TV. There is only one 2 point plug outlet so if you are travelling as a couple, you will have to take turns charging your phones and if you have more devices like most people do, good luck with getting everything charged for the next day. It's an impossible task. Ideally there needs to be usb outlets next to the beds and another 2 at the desk aswell as a dual plug outlet. The TV channels are also from the dark ages. No Netflix or Disney or anything of that sort.

The room was very comfortable. Great bed and cushions. Spacious bathroom. As a smoker, it was a joy being able to smoke in the room and not having to sneak about in the middle of the night trying to find somewhere to smoke - most civilized. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

a few things would have made it perfect...a decent toilet seat (that silly little plastic thing has no business there) and a seriously pap couch needs to be replaced. The shower has a sign on that says to 'cap' my shower at a minute and a half... it took at least 2 minutes to get any hot water...:) And besides, we're not really struggling with a drought at the moment...

Location is always great. Staff is always friendly and service is great. Rooms are neat and tidy. Breakfast always a champion.

The shower doors did not close properly. As a non smoking couple we had smokers in rooms around us which made it rather unpleasant. . Bed duvet cover seams were coming apart in places. Main door and surrounding rooms had to be slammed to close and noisy ,so sleep was interrupted all the time.
