I am really grateful to the hotel team for making our stay special by decorating the room for my husband’s birthday! The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and polite. We also enjoyed the breakfast—it was tasty and had a great variety of food. The location is excellent as well; you can even walk to the airport.

However, I didn’t like the fact that there were no rubbish bags in the toilet or room. Since we were traveling with a baby, we had a lot of garbage, and she kept pulling everything out of the empty, lightweight bins. Another odd thing is that the hotel feels a bit plasticky, with not enough fresh air. Lastly, the window design was strange—our room had very small windows, and an empty wall was covered with curtains to make it look better. Maybe it was just our room, but it felt a bit off

The location was perfect for my needs—fly into Nic, spend the night(s), use the free shuttle to the airport, and catch a bus at Terminal2 to my final destination . Also in reverse—the bus arrives at Terminal 2, I spend the night(s) at Novotel Arenas ,free shuttle back to airport, and I fly back home. When I stay for more than one night, the Tram is easy to catch at the airport for travel to popular spots. So, the location is great for me, but it is second to the kind, professional staff who do what they can to accommodate every need. I will always stay at the Novotel Arenas when in Nice.

The only comment I would make is the confusion about the shuttle service to the airport. I spoke to 3 different people working at the desk and each had a different process. 1. Come down 5-10 mins before shuttle leaves (every 30 mins), no booking necessary 2. Book a time for the shuttle 3. Call before you come down The problem was, I came down for 4:30am, another client was waiting as well. We proceeded to the shuttle vehicle and when I told the driver I was to go to Terminal 2, he said no! To wait until 5 am shuttle. I was confused and asked the desk clerk and he just shrugged his shoulders. Please be consistent in your communication to ensure that clients can plan accordingly. Thank you.

+The location is a 3-5 minute drive, probably a 15-20 minute walk. +Private parking, 16 euros per day. +Double windows, non-existent noise (at least on the back side). +Comfortable beds. +Modern look, new furniture. +/-Minimalist breakfast, but with fresh and tasty products. -BIG minus: No slippers (available only for executive rooms). In my opinion, slippers are a hygiene necessity, not a fad. -The floor in the room is not washed/vacuumed. One more reason to have slippers. -No minibar in the room. -Relatively small room.

When I fly into Nice, I will always stay at this Novotel at the beginning and at the end of my vacations in France. The location is perfect for me. I really appreciate the free shuttle service to the airport, BUT, more importantly, the staff is friendly and accommodating. I had pleasant conversations with Anastasia (forgive possible misspelling). She was very compassionate when learning that my last vacation had suddenly turned from visiting close friends to supporting them through the sudden, unexpected loss of my friend’s husband a day before my arrival in Nice.) I left Nice to go to my friends for five weeks and when I returned to Nice to stay several nights before flying home, the staff was kind and interested in how I was doing. I’m grateful for the hotel’s help and attitude through a difficult situation. I look forward to staying there again and again in happier times.

I have checked with the card issuer which has confirmed that my card is in order. I have updated Booking.com with this card several times but no cashback has been made till now. There is no way for me to reflect to Booking.com but this channel. Please action immediately and do not use my card inot in order as an excuse. In fact, Booking.com has made cash payout to me via the same card successfully few months ago

We needed a place by the airport, so it was very conveniently located right across the street. The windows are soundproof so you couldn’t hear the airplanes landing and taking off. The room was also spacious for our family of 4. They had some activities for the kids in the lobby area. The bathroom and shower was spacious and convenient. 

You have to pay for parking, and it’s a bit confusing given that there are two hotels that share the same parking spot. Upon entering the parking area, there was a prostitute soliciting guests as they drove in. The hotel was also a bit pricey for its location. 

Very nice interior design in the public areas for an airport hotel, nothing fancy, just a bit more of an upgrade than your usual runway sleepover property. You can literally walk to the airport within about 15 mins, (10 if you don’t have a suitcase!). Had a runway view, with yachts bobbing in the ocean behind it as well. Bed was very comfy, slept really well.

Aircon was leaking a bit and a little noisy, but it was over 30 degrees outside and my room was cool enough to feel comfortable. I came prepared with some food and snacks from my stay in the city before hand, (and there was a fridge in the room to keep them cool), but I’ll mark here there’s no shops at all near by, so your eating options are the hotel (or neighbouring hotels) restaurants. Would definitely bring a big bottle of drink not much in the way of drinks n snacks to take to your room - but that’s kind of normal for an airport hotel - so just a heads up really.

The staff were friendly and the location was perfect. The bed was comfortable.

The only complaint I have is a strange one. The door on the shower room (separate from toilet room) seems to be magnetized to snap open (and latch between entry and bed area) or be tightly closed. My fingers got pinched in the space between the wall and door when the snapping action first happened unexpectedly. It seems unsafe and definitely wasn’t a pleasant experience. It’s a very strange design that I’ve never seen anywhere else.

The front desk staff person we interacted with was exceptionally helpful and kind. He was efficient and professional, but also exceeded all expectations in how he treated the group of guests who gathered in the lobby early in the morning to wait for the airport shuttle. All were greeted warmly, offered fresh pastries and helped into the shuttle. This made all the difference in our stay and made our impression of the hotel strongly positive. Kudos to you, Sir!!
