We spent three days in Hanoi, and had originally booked a hotel in the old Quarter. However, on the first night we didn’t get a wink of sleep because it is so noisy there. So on the second day we rebooked at lotte hotel and couldn’t have been happier with our entire experience. It is a beautiful clean modern hotel, with really great staff. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Whole hotel is very quiet. Really nice doorman. There’s a supermarket downstairs, as well as a whole department store and lots of restaurants. It took us about 15 minutes in a grab to the old quarter when we wanted to visit. If we come back to Hanoi, we will definitely be staying here again. A beautiful luxurious hotel.

Efficient, modern hotel, run diligently by caring and attentive staff. Swimming pool, gym, sauna all top notch. The club lounge was all encompassing providing breakfast as well as snacks for lunch and dinner. Wide selection of bars and restaurants, with the “Top of Hanoi” bar on the 65th floor a must.

As with most club lounges could do with serving alcohol rather than just tea, coffee and soft drinks. Although not expensive when compared to European equivalents it is in when put next to other, perhaps more characterful hotels nearby. Avoid the Grill 63 restaurant. Not as good as other local restaurants which provide better food and offer better value

Lotte Hotel is definitely a 5-star experience. We got the room for both club lounge access and I feel this is what made the experience so good. Club lounge access will give you: - Private check in on floor 59 (the staff member was great and brought us a cool towel and iced tea to enjoy whilst we went through the process and explained the Lounge benefits - Breakfast buffet, afternoon light lunch buffet (has high tea-type options with cakes, fruit and sandwiches etc.), and dinner buffet. Whilst there are a lot of meat and seafood dishes, I was able to eat fairly easily with the vegetarian options available, which was great - Daily we got given cakes delivered to our room in the afternoon, which was a nice touch There are two pools, one outdoor (floor 7) and one indoor (floor 35), both with jacuzzis. It is probably useful to know that the jacuzzis are with the saunas on floor 7, which are split into female and male as it is expected to use these facilities nude. This is not typical where I’m from so if you’re similar know that you can use the jacuzzi on level 35 with bathers. Overall, the hotel is excellent and the staff are wonderful and really do make the hotel experience great. I would recommend staying here

Our recent family stay at the Lotte Hotel Hanoi was nothing short of an exceptional experience, truly solidifying its reputation as one of the best, and certainly the tallest, hotels in Hanoi. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in an atmosphere of luxury and impeccable service that made our visit truly memorable. As one of Hanoi's most iconic skyscrapers, the Lotte Hotel Hanoi offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, especially from our room. Waking up to the sprawling urban landscape was a daily highlight, and the nighttime vista was equally captivating, a shimmering tapestry of lights. This unique advantage of being in the "tallest tier" undoubtedly elevated our stay. The convenience factor for a family was a major plus. We loved the direct access to a shopping mall, which provided endless entertainment and retail therapy options right at our fingertips. This was incredibly convenient, especially with children, allowing us to easily pop down for anything we needed or simply enjoy some leisurely Browse. The surrounding area further enhanced our experience with an abundance of coffee shops and good restaurants nearby, offering a delightful array of culinary choices for every palate. Beyond the prime location and stunning views, the service was truly excellent. Every member of the staff, from the concierge to the housekeeping team, was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to assist. Their proactive approach and warm hospitality made us feel valued and well-cared for throughout our stay.

Had a fantastic stay at Lotte Hotel Hanoi. Everything, from the service, location, room, to the indoor pool exceeded my expectations. The Pharaoh’s Bar & Upper looks much better than in photos. Every staff member I met was genuinely kind, professional, and attentive. especially Ms. Phung Nguyen, who assisted with the airport transfer. One highlight I’d highly recommend is using the hotel’s airport transfer service. I was running late for my flight, and they had someone waiting for me at the airport who helped me skip the queue with priority check-in. Extremely efficient and thoughtful! Also, don’t miss the mango bingsu at the hotel’s restaurant. I’ll definitely stay here again every time I visit Hanoi. Highly recommend !

Clean and spacious room. The facilities such as the gym, jacuzzi and the pool were all very good and updated. Buffet breakfast was amazing, so many options and the taste was scrumptious. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, putting in a lot of efforts to accommodate our requests.

Evening lounge staff was a downgrade from the rest of the staff. They had cold and somewhat disrespectful attitude towards Vietnamese guests in comparison to foreigners. Some were gossiping while working and refused to clean the dirty dishes or replaced our dirty utensils until we had to tell them personally, and they did it as if they didn’t want to. Very disappointed as the rest of the staff was very nice throughout our stay.

Excellent hotel, staff is very friendly and welcoming and willing to go extra mile for a customer. Very good restaurants and bars, in particular the grill and dim sum ones and the roof top bar as well as the one with live music

Longer breakfast hours would be better as now breakfast is until 10 am only. Also would be good if lobby bar opened earlier for those who just want a quick snack as opposed to a full breakfast. Now it opens at 8 am. Beds in other Lotte hotels I’ve been to were bigger but still are of decent size/comfortable.

Our room was on the 52nd floor. The view was insane. The toilets were large and airy with a good sized bathtub and a large shower.

A little bit away from most things and there isnt a lot of local food choices around the hotel. The spa is seriously pricey.

Comfortable rooms, many restaurant selection and a sits on top of a mall with variety of needs you can get.

Employees who are in inept in handling guests. Showing smiling face but only as an act, the hotel did nothing for our convenience and whenever we asked for something easy to answer they didnt show much effort, they dismissed us. Also location is far for sightseing tours keep in mind it takes like 25 min to get to a meeting point for out of city tours.

The hotel has high floors which provide excellent view over Hanoi. Room was spacious and well equipped. Staff were hospitable and well-trained. And last but not least, the brunch buffet at Grill 63 restaurant was really good.

In my room, at some of the carpet edges, there are spikes that hurt when you accidentally step on them. The outdoor pool area is small and not worthy of of a 5-star hotel, the pool towels are also torn and look pretty old, time to replace them.
