This is a lovely hotel so convenient for all the sights of Hanoi Old Town. It felt like an oasis coming in from the busy streets. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious with pastries, excellent coffee, fresh fruit and a choice of eggs and traditional Vietnamese food. Fantastic views across the city from the restaurant as well. The Sky Bar has a panoramic view of the city as well as excellent cocktails. It was a special experience to watch the sun set over the Hanoi skyline. The pool was small but great for cooling off, again with a stunning view. However, the most special thing about this hotel is the staff, who were welcoming, friendly and really made us feel at home. Special thank you to Taylor and Vivian who went above and beyond to give us lots of tips and recommendations. I would absolutely recommend GM Hotel to families travelling to Hanoi.

Beautiful hotel in good location in the old quarter. The staff were very friendly with no pressure. Vivian was particularly kind and ensured we truly felt at home. After we left we needed some advice which Vivian provided. We were so impressed we booked to stay here again when we return to Hanoi next week. Highly recommend

Pool was very small. Pictures are deceiving. Don't stay here is you plan on lounging by the pool. There is literally nowhere to sit and sunbathe.

Some parts of the hotel were under renovation - halls were being painted and the entire roof top pool area was closed for maintenance which is one of the main reasons we picked the hotel - for the kids to be able to cool down in the pool. The hotel never advised us of this before we arrived. Don't select the takeaway breakfast which is very poor compared to the dine in option.

From the gorgeous friendly greetings from staff every time we arrived and left the building to the superb breakfast buffet with city views, we could not have enjoyed our stay at GM Premium Hotel more. The facilities were incredibly clean and well kept and the rooms and bathrooms felt very luxurious. As a family of five, we stayed in a connected room, which was perfect and gave us heaps of space. It was in a terrific location, very close to Hoan Kiem lake for morning walks and close to some great restaurants. We preferred the location of this hotel to others we stayed at in the Old Quarter, better for families as it was away from Beer St and some of the more touristy restaurants. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Nothing really - except to mention that the pool was small and did not have heaps of places to sit around it to supervise children (if you didn't want to swim yourself). But it is only a minor issue as having access to a pool on a hot day is fabulous.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. They were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always eager to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. No request was too small, and the fact that they were available 24/7, easily reachable at all times, was a huge bonus. The location is ideal—right in the heart of Hanoi—but surprisingly quiet. It’s the perfect balance of being close to everything without the usual hustle and bustle. The hotel itself is immaculate, modern, and beautifully designed, offering a truly relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant served delicious food, and the bar was just as impressive. The highlight, though, was the breathtaking view from the rooftop. Whether you're sipping a drink or enjoying a meal, the panoramic view of the city was absolutely stunning. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi. The combination of excellent service, great amenities, and unbeatable location makes it a top choice for a memorable stay.

The breakfast was nice and the location ideal. Each and every staff member went above and beyond to ensure a seamless stay. I ordered a car to pick me up from the airport and drive me to the hotel. Two member of staff escorted me into the hotel. I was checked in by Alex, an extraordinary young man, very professional and attentive. Whilst being checked in I was served fresh tea and a sweet treat. A great way to start my visit. Checkout was equally as professional. The service was exemplary.

I can't think of a single thing that would make this hotel better. I would recommend booking a room with a balcony - rather than an internal window room. I loved opening the balcony window and listening to all the hustle and bustle from the streets below. Also keep in mind, this hotel is situated in the inner city and space is limited. With that said, my suite was very roomy.

We had a great stay at the GM Premium hotel and should we return to Hanoi I would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend it as a place to base yourself for a trip to this city as our stay here was a highlight of our time in Hanoi. Staff - The hotel is a really good hotel as I go on to explain but the staff are truly exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for better service. All staff are attentive, super helpful and cheerful. There is always someone on hand to help. We were provided with lots of advice (at our request) and they even helped us to confirm our booking with an external tour company not connected to hotel as I was worried about a pick up. Lyly and Lee deserve a special mention but Huan who looked after us on our arrival was also wonderfully helpful as was anyone we spoke to/interacted with. We were greeted as we exited our taxi, bags taken straight away and even given a quick lesson on how to cross the road (as safely as you can!) in Hanoi. The high attention to looking after us continued for the duration of our stay. Room - Spotlessly clean, good water pressure and temperature in the showers. Nice toiletries and secure safe. We stayed in both the Deluxe Double and Executive Suite (following a free upgrade which was really appreciated) as we stayed twice during our trip. It was nice to have the extra space in the Executive Suite but the Deluxe Double was perfectly adequate for the two of us and our large cases if you are deliberating/on a budget. Restaurant/Bar/Food - Really well presented rooftop restaurant and bar on a split level. Great atmosphere at night. Music at the right volume. You can eat/drink inside or out as suits. We didn’t have dinner here however we loved sitting out in the evening to have a cocktail/beer as the sun set over Hanoi looking down on the hustle and bustle and onto the skyline of Hanoi. Free beer voucher was a nice touch for your first drink.

Stayed here for our last night in Hanoi and couldn't have been happier with the location, the staff, the room and the amenities. The hospitality we were shown by Vivian was exceptional with personalized help with check in and local recommendations. We were also blown away by the speciality cocktails at the sky bar with the bartenders creating custom concoctions that were delicious. The location was great for shopping, food and close enough to the main hot spots. We also got upgraded to a bigger room with a balcony which was a great plus. The staff were all super friendly and helpful with our little one year old. We felt very welcomed and at home. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Hanoi.
