It is close to all major attractions and walkable. It is a new property and kept clean. Breakfast is a good spread with variety of fruits, begs, local food and European food to taste. Eggs are available.

Some times early mornings if you have a tour the water is not available for bath and wash in bathrooms. You have to request the lobby boy to put on the pump. The water then comes after 15 mins. That leads to delays.

Staff - very friendly staff. Mr Zenky was contactable via Whatsapp all the time and helped to organise airport pickup. Ms Kate at reception was very friendly and ensured a smooth check in process. Location - good location, walking distance to most of the sightseeing areas including Train Street and Night Market. Rooms - we booked 2 rooms and both were to our satisfaction. The Family Suite with City View was the best, have 2 double beds, large space and clean bathroom. Breakfast - Good variety of food. We liked the Pho cooked to order, hot food and fruits.

The staff especially Kate and Hannah there was also a young man (forgot his name) they were all so very professional,friendly and helpful. The hotel is installing new furniture and they asked if it would be possible for us to pack up for a few hours. They explained that a contractor was bringing in furniture etc. We said yes we were to be gone for at less 5 hours,gave them the hour of our walking tour and the hour of return. Everything was done when we arrived . They are modernizing the rooms , it is beautiful and will be so again when completed . The two rooms we had are not huge but very convenient and comfortable. Location was great . Quieter then I thought it would be. As for breakfast it was good. Would definitely recommend . Thanks ladies for making our stay memorable.

his hotel surpassed any expectations I had. What a beautiful property, run by exceptional staff. Special mention goes to Trang at Reception who assisted me with literally everything. She is a gem and a huge asset to this hotel. The location is spot on and walking distance to everything. The street is small & fairly quiet so noise wasn’t a problem. I had a huge spacious room with dresser, table & chairs, couch and a nice balcony looking over the Old Quarter. The bathroom was large with a fantastic shower. The bed was super comfy. There weren’t any English channels on the TV but they got Netflix working for me. Breakfast is on the top floor, great views, friendly staff with a reasonable menu, served promptly and always tasty. I honestly can’t speak highly enough of this property. I will definitely return.

We are so glad to have found this hotel for our stay in Hanoi. It is perfectly located right in the middle of the old quarter in a rather quiet side street. Even though you have some of the best cafés, shops and restaurants in walking distance, it was surprisingly quiet at night and the beds were very comfy!!! I also have to point out the immense and warm friendliness of the staff. They always welcomed us with an open hearted smile in the morning and when we returned to the hotel. They even helped us with the retrieval of our sons phone that he forgot in the cab on the way to the airport! Big thanks to Kate from the reception! We had a great time and would definately book this hotel again.

Loved the hotel.It is accessible,clean and at a fantastic location and within walking distance of everywhere within the old quarter.The staff were warm, friendly and courteous and extremely helpful.They gave us a free upgrade to a deluxe room when we arrived and on the last day of stay they extended the checkout time by an extra hour.The complimentary buffet breakfast was fantastic every single day and we loved the food.They even asked us if they could cook something special that we wanted.Every service offered including laundry and taxi rides to and fro from the airport were hassle-free and well worth the money spent.Excellent place to stay and even better staff.

It's the third time we were staying here. Excellent as ever. Spotless clean, very very clean rooms. Breakfast is delicious especially the mixed fruit pancakes with chocolate :-) In the middle of Hanoi but still quiet. And the staff is the best!! Extremely friendly!

We had a fantastic experience staying at the Golden Legend Diamond Hotel. It was an ideal location in a quieter but still very accessible and safe area of the Old Quarter, with lots of lovely eateries and shops around and the lake within a short walk. The room was exceptional and pristinely clean, with all amenities provided and the breakfast on offer was varied and delicious. The airport taxi service was also a godsend when we arrived late at night! We particularly loved the staff - they were so helpful and accommodating in every way. Special mention to Kite and Hanna on reception - two beautiful women who were very kind and friendly in all interactions. Recommend this wonderful hotel for your stay in Hanoi!

Throughout our time in Vietnam in November/December 2024, we used this exceptional hotel to explore Hanoi and as a base for our travels as we visited other cities. In total, we came back 5 times and stayed 9 nights - it was that good! We can't recommend it enough. The rooms were always spotless and such high quality, with comfy beds and pristine bathrooms, daily cleaning and amenities provided. Treat yourself to a Junior Suite with balcony for stunning views! The daily free breakfast was wonderful and nourishing as well. The location is totally fantastic. It is so close to everything, including the lake and shopping streets but still feels much more peaceful than other areas in central Hanoi. It's quiet and surrounded by great restaurants and shops right on its doorstep. We always felt very safe and comfortable. The staff were the absolute highlight of our stay. They are BEAUTIFUL people who were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble to organise for us - they booked airport transfers for us multiple times, coordinated laundry, allowed us a late check out and kept our bags for us every time we left Hanoi to visit Tam Coc, Sapa, Hoi An and Halong Bay. When my partner became unwell during the last days of our trip, they checked on her constantly and gave me helpful advice about the local pharmacy. I must give a special mention to Kate, who manages the hotel so beautifully and with such professionalism. We so enjoyed talking with her every day. She is an OUTSTANDING representative of the hotel and they are lucky to have her! We also absolutely loved meeting Hanna on reception. She was incredibly kind to us, constantly helpful and friendly, and a joy to talk to. Both these women are a credit to the hotel and their English is brilliant. We wouldn't have come back to stay so many times if it wasn't for their kindness and hospitality which made us feel so at home. Thank you Golden Legend Diamond Hotel!

Staying at the Golden Legend Diamond Hotel was one of the best decisions we made during our trip. The hotel is perfectly situated near nice shops, excellent restaurants, and within walking distance of Hoan Kiem Lake and many of Hanoi’s top tourist spots. The staff were incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and friendly, especially Kate and Wind, who went above and beyond to help us with recommendations and directions around the city. Our room was lovely, featuring a cozy balcony with views of the city, and it was cleaned meticulously every day, making it the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. The bed, pillows, and sheets were exceptionally comfortable, adding to the overall sense of relaxation. The service was truly outstanding. What truly stood out was the thoughtful gesture of preparing a to-go breakfast for us, even though we hadn’t requested it. We had an early flight and needed to leave the hotel by 5am, well before their usual breakfast service at 6:30am. The night before, we had only asked for an airport transfer at 5am, so we were pleasantly surprised when they also packed breakfast for us to eat at the airport. This level of care and attention really made a lasting impression. We are so grateful to the entire team and will definitely return when we visit Hanoi again.
