All likes! Staff: Vivien was our main point of contact at this hotel, and they truly made our time a delight here. They checked in with us every day (as did other staff when they weren't there) to make sure we had a good night and breakfast, and if there was anything to improve. If we wanted to book a massage at the hotel's spa, a table at the restaurant, airport travel, the water puppet show etc., we just had to message Vivian on WhatsApp and they'd sort it out for us. Vivian also recommended us some food places in Hanoi, and she did not steer us wrong as all of them hit it out of the park. In general, the service from Nyugen, Eugene and the rest of the staff (too many to name here as they are all great!) really made our stay here the highlight of our trip and a real home base we were comfortable coming back to after surviving Hanoi City centre! A nice touch was that they helped us cross the road when trying to get into the hotel, which takes a bit of practice in Hanoi if you're not used to it. Tour bookings: We booked all our tours through them and they did not steer us wrong as we had a wonderful time at Ninh Binh and a cruise through the UNESCO sea area (included Ha Long Bay). (Vivian sorted this too!) I really liked how each of the tour ideas was a physical book we could flip through which was a nice touch. Room: Considering it is the old quarter of Hanoi, the rooms aren't huge, but they are a decent size. The mattresses are a nice firmness, the shower has good pressure and the toilets have a bidet. The cleaners do a good job every day. They also checked the room to see if we had forgotten anything as we were checking out too! Which I've never seen anywhere before. General hotel notes: It smells really nice! They have these diffusers throughout the hotel (you especially notice it when you first come in), and if you like the smell you can purchase it. If I ever return to Hanoi, I'm booking this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel so convenient for all the sights of Hanoi Old Town. It felt like an oasis coming in from the busy streets. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious with pastries, excellent coffee, fresh fruit and a choice of eggs and traditional Vietnamese food. Fantastic views across the city from the restaurant as well. The Sky Bar has a panoramic view of the city as well as excellent cocktails. It was a special experience to watch the sun set over the Hanoi skyline. The pool was small but great for cooling off, again with a stunning view. However, the most special thing about this hotel is the staff, who were welcoming, friendly and really made us feel at home. Special thank you to Taylor and Vivian who went above and beyond to give us lots of tips and recommendations. I would absolutely recommend GM Hotel to families travelling to Hanoi.

Hmmm.. just kidding! Don’t even hesitate and book your stay in this hotel straight away! The location is excellent, the rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is tasty and the views from the pool and sky bar are spectacular! Impossible is nothing for Ms Vivian she will help you with anything at any time! Thank you for looking after us and making our stay unforgettable :) we will definitely stay with you again!

Beautiful hotel in good location in the old quarter. The staff were very friendly with no pressure. Vivian was particularly kind and ensured we truly felt at home. After we left we needed some advice which Vivian provided. We were so impressed we booked to stay here again when we return to Hanoi next week. Highly recommend

Location was superb. Beautiful hotel and very comfortable rooms. Staff went above and beyond.

Pool was very small. Pictures are deceiving. Don't stay here is you plan on lounging by the pool. There is literally nowhere to sit and sunbathe.

I have traveled allot in my life, stayed at many hotels. GM Premium was by far the best experience I have ever had. The hotel staff is the best, the rooms are amazing and clean, the breakfast was top class and the rooftop bar was magical. What made our experience extra amazing is having Peter as our travel agent. Peter organised all our transfers, hotels for us to sapa, night bus, stay and entertainment. He gave us amazing deals and was a saving grace for us. He is always ontop of everything, fast to respond and always available to help. So not only was the hotel amazing, but played a big part in our visit to Vietnam. The service I personally rate with 10 stars. The location is also amazing. We went back to this hotel between our travels got treated the exact same way and even got upgraded. I would recommend this hotel and Peter to everyone going to vietnam. Best experience ever!

Nothing, all was perfect

Great location and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Clean comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. We were up graded to a better room which was lovely but those facing the street are a bit noisy so we chose to stay with our original booking for a room with an interior window which was super quiet. We requested a car from the airport which worked perfectly with very clear communication from the hotel. They also organised our onward journey which was competitive versus grab pricing. Highly recommend.

The gym equipment was a bit tired but that was being upgraded and refurbished on the day we left.

Absolutely amazing hotel in the heart of the old town. Beautifully appointed throughout, it really is an oasis of calm in the bustle of Hanoi. Great restaurant and sky bar on the top floor along with the swimming pool. It’s not a particularly big pool, but adequate and great for calling off when the humidity rises. However, the best thing about this hotel has to be the staff. The level of service is exceptional from everyone you meet, without exception but I have to give a special mention to the wonderful Thom. From the moment she checked us in until the day we left she made sure our stay was perfect. She was always helpful organising trips or offering guidance, but was never pushy. She is a credit and an asset to the hotel.

We loved our stay at GM Premium hotel as the location was amazing in the centre of the old quarter as well as the hotel being such a wonderful part of our holiday . The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed as well as a very comfortable bed . The buffet breakfast was delicious with so much choice and we enjoyed the roof top sky bar with views over Hanoi and wonderful Vietnamese food ( especially the Hanoi spring rolls ). The staff were a highlight of our stay as were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble . Special shout out to Grace who was amazing ( “ Amazing Grace” ) and couldn’t do more to help us and make our stay comfortable and full of wonderful experiences . We will recommend to friends and will be back to stay at GM Premium hotel on our next holiday to Hanoi .
