Great location at a quiet ally and about 5-7 minutes walking from the lake. The room is specious with good amenities, and comfortable bed (hard mattress, but I slept on it really well). The hotel staff are nice, welcoming and helpful. There is an elevator which is a plus.

We were on the 8th floor and from our window we saw construction workers from a nearby building, thus needed to close the shade all our staying. The construction starts at the morning around 08:00 a.m. and it can be a little noisy. I recommend to ask the receptionists to get a room on the entrance-side and not on the back side of the building to not be bothered by the construction. Nonetheless this is a minor complaint as it merely bothered us and wasn't that bad or loud.

The location was excellent. The neighborhood was really nice, clean, quiet, and close to everything. The room was quiet, you could not hear any street noise. The front desk had someone 24/7, they had an elevator to my room on 7th floor (standard room). This was my favorite place out of four different hotels so far this trip. I have 3 days left and went to another hotel and regretted it after first night away. I missed this place! I might abandon the other hotel and expense of it to return here for my last night in Hanoi. Plus with this location you can get a Grab taxi easily and have easy exit out of neighborhood to the airport. It’s a safe area.I highly recommend this place.

I don’t recall them notifying me of where to eat breakfast and what time, or if they actually even offered it, but it was listed on booking.com.

Room was very clean, comfortable and modern.

The front desk person didn't speak english. I asked her a question about a very touristy thing and she didn't know what I was talking about even with the aid of translation apps. I wanted to pay for my room with a credit card but was notified there would be a 3% surcharge and when I paid in cash, she didn't have change. I was also notifed the night before that tea, water, and coffee is free. When I checked out the next day, I was notified only the small bottles of water were free and the larger ones cost money. The room itself was amazing but was not impressed with the customer service.

This little gem of a hotel doesn't look much from the street, but the foyer was well appointed, and the large room we booked was exactly as shown in the photos. The largest bed we have ever seen which was very comfortable. Very clean room and bathroom and whilst the hotel is situated in a busy area of Hanoi the soundproofing was excellent making it very quiet at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurants, mini marts, shops and street vendors close by. Easy to walk to all the major tourist attractions in Hanoi.

Wonderfully clean, our room was amazing. We opted for a suite and the room was amazing, spacious and well illuminated, the bed we humongous and incredibly comfortable. It was also really quiet considering how centrally located the hotel is. As we'd selected the honeymoon suite our room was nicely decorated with petals and swan shaped towels with a complimentary bottle of Vietnamese wine included too! We had a balcony that was a little lackluster as it was devoid of furniture and a little small. However we didn't mind. The location is great for old town with bars and restaurants all within easy reach. The staff were great and we were able to leave our bags safely while we waited for our transfer in the afternoon.

Overall the stay was good. The room was spacious and had a window with view of tops of buildings. Small hotel with only 2 rooms on each floor which was good.

Photos indicated there was a restaurant which was one of the reasons we chose this accomodation but on arrival we went to check it out to find it was closed and full of furniture so obviously out of action for sometime.

We stayed at a number of hotels in the same area within a week and Blue Hanoi was the best by far. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities one needs while travelling on holiday. But what makes it stand out are the people - Nancy and Sophia were extremely helpful and organized all our trips even when we were forced to stay elsewhere because Blue Hanoi was fully booked some days.

Location was great. Nancy was very helpful! Room was huge and they had decorated it :) Hotel was able to book us cabs to and from the airport and help with laundry. They also provided a baby cot!

Bath tubs were a little unclean or had permanent stains so didn’t feel comfortable getting in. no real balcony in the balcony room, just a little step out area with no tables and chairs and quite dirty.
