We liked the contemporary design of the unit, and the small scale of the hotel. The artwork in the room and public spaces was tastefully chosen and highlighted local artists. Our queries were addressed promptly, courteously and satisfactorily.

The window did not have a conventional view. Since it was placed high up on the wall, it provided a view of the sky, which was a clever idea and afforded privacy. This worked well since the room had a high ceiling.

Everything! Parking was easy, location was amazing, bed was comfy, room and building are gorgeous, shower could fit like 6 people, tons of amenities and thoughtful comms (they even provided us a dog bed and robe)!

Just the wifi, it wasn't usable at all, and I had one bar of cell service so we were essentially locked out of using our devices, which we needed for work.

This room and entire facility was easily 200% more than what I was expecting! I would consider myself a slightly above average traveller for leisure throughout many countries in the world and average, as a business traveller; This experience (because it is more than just a room) is hands down the most thought out accommodation design I have ever had both locally and abroad. There is nothing that Michael and his partners didn’t think of when they built this place. Beautiful common areas, gorgeous thought-out design, OUTSTANDING welcome from the owner, awesome 75” TV, huge walk-in shower with state of art fixtures, heated floors in the “Getting Ready” area, a separate private toilet area and perfect lighting that you can customize for every area of the crib!! Looking for a beverage of just about any kind? (Local wine, local beer, spirits, soft drinks) It’s here! There is only great quality in every way and functionability way beyond any hotel room. I can’t say enough! I will go back and stay just to get away from home for a break! (And then of course the is the beautiful town of Picton…😁👍) Worth every penny!!!!

Wifi could have been better but it seems it was a town of Picton issue as the entire network throughout town was not delivering as it should. I also didn’t like that I couldn’t stay for another night just because I wanted to 😜

The location is fabulous and the bedroom was comfortable, spacious and well designed. Despite not having many amenities come with the place there is a great diner down the street for breakfast and tons of stores, restaurants and bars within minutes walking distance.

My partner and I are both smokers, it would have been nice to have a balcony (shared or private) so that we didn't have to go all the way downstairs every time. However, that is very subjective... haha

First of all, the communication from the staff was so quick and friendly. They accommodated an early check in, and even swapped us to an upgraded room when I made a mistake by booking two beds. Upon arrival, I was greeted and helped by an absolutely lovely lady who took the time to help me with my bags and even walk me down the lane to show me where my husband might park our second vehicle, free of charge. Last, but certainly not least… THE ROOM. We stayed in suite 2 and it was absolutely to die for. The comfiest bed, the most luxurious shower, the biggest TV I’ve ever seen. Even the minibar was larger than normal and had lots of room to stash my own things. I wish I could live there!!

Everything very new and exceptionally clean. I like the lights under the bathroom sink that automatically come on when you go in in the middle of the night, they are dim so they don't wake you up. The windows are covered in a folding wood door so it completely blocks out light. Location is great to be able to just park and walk around town for everything. There are a lot of complimentary toiletries, more than at most hotels.

Personally, I prefer a softer mattress and I found it difficult to sleep on a firm mattress, as well I prefer almost flat pillows, I really hate fluffy pillows. If I were to stay here in the future I would wish for a few different kinds of pillows to choose from, and maybe a squishy mattress topper. We had recurring technical problems with our door key pin number, the booking system is not linked to the door key system so we had to phone staff to get into our room a couple of times, which they were quick to respond to. Also, I kind of miss not seeing any staff at the hotel, as everybody just lets themselves in. I would feel safer and more comfortable if there were staff around.

The location was perfect for walking to restaurants. The decor was beautiful…..modern and casual, yet sophisticated, bright, airy, and very spacious. The room also had many unexpected wonderful details. For example, the motion sensor lighting when you used the bathroom at night….and tons of storage in the way of cupboards and drawers. Also the room had so much counter space! And the maple wood floors were gorgeous!

I missed not having either a room balcony…..or a common shared outdoor patio on the premises. I also missed not being to look outside. The only window we had in our room was up high on the wall. In other words…..I would have liked somewhere to sit other than the confines of my room to enjoy my first morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Also, a small keurig style coffee maker in the room instead of a Bodum French press would be so much easier and less messy. As well, I missed not having a reception desk. Without a physical body there to greet and welcome you with a smile this boutique hotel felt more like just a classy Airbnb.

Loved everything from the central location, easy parking, lovely staff, glamorous decor, absolute cleanliness, total comfort, and relaxed ambience. These guys are really getting it right. Whilst we didn’t use it the mini bar was well stocked and totally fairly priced. Picton is a cute town with nice restaurants so we’ll definitely return, and when we do it’ll definitely be to this hotel.

The room and bathroom were pristine and beautifully decorated. It was well-equipped with reasonably priced snacks and drinks. The blinds fit the windows so there was not a crack of light so sleeping was perfect in their very comfortable beds.

I loved everything but could have used a shower cap and body lotion - 2 things I count on and don’t travel with.

The room was quite large and modern with a good amount of natural light. The location is perfect.

Not much, maybe the tiny and slow elevator. It was a bit difficult to finalise the booking as they don't have someone on-site. We were requested to provide credit card details on the phone, which made us uncomfortable. It took a bit of back and forth but they understood the issue and allowed us a late check-in without providing these cc details.
