Being objective is difficult. I carry with me extremely fond memories of my time. A house with 400 years of history, dark at times but with warmth and soul. Time stops here. Peace, privacy, comfort, a great pool. Ha, what to say for breakfast? Gentle soul Frederico, who lets you know this is your home from the first day, is already preparing breakfast at 5:30 so that everything is perfect by 8:00. Helpful, never intrusive and always ready to give good advice for activities in Gozo. Thank you for having me as your guest. I believe it will not be the last time.

There is no 10-point scale, so I give the maximum number of stars. The facility is incredibly cozy, the owner Frederico told us in the morning about the breakfast that he prepares for his guests and some of the products come from local farmers. The town itself, where the hotel is located, is incredibly charming and after 10 pm it is very quiet. This is a beautiful facility if you want to come with a group of people to relax and calm your thoughts. The owner is a wonderful man - he told us the whole history of the island and where to go to avoid the crowds of tourists, where to eat and rent a boat. He is a real guide who likes to talk. Everything is kept in impeccable cleanliness. We will definitely come back here.

We enjoyed and totally relaxed 5 nights at this very welcoming, clean and quiet farmhouse. Federico who was our kind and generous host was always very happy and friendly with us. We enjoyed their delicious traditional, savoury and sweet - plentiful breakfast. Sometimes he added personal touch to it by providing his tasty homemade cakes as well. We had a late flight, but Federico allowed us to leave our baggages downstairs and go out. When we came back he let us in and allowed us to stay till we were ready to leave. This was his above and beyond generosity! Most of the time we had downstairs lounge and pool to ourselves, which made us feel at home. We met a lovely couple who were there for the 4th time and we are certain to be back here again.

There is nothing to point out! Everything was more than our expectation!

I can’t describe here all the positive emotions, atmosphere and friendliness that the host - Federico have provided during our stay. Breakfast - his personal touch with different pastries and ingredients that he prepares and gathers from the locals. His friendly approach to the guests makes this B&B the best option to stay for families, youth, older generation as everyone will appreciate his honest and hospitable work. The hotel itself looks very amazing and the pool that you can enjoy during your stay at the any given time is absolute gem! In your room you will find all the amenities that you need and even more - AC, hair dryer and other stuff. I really hope that only good people will stay at this place and use his friendliness, so he can further provide the best service and atmosphere!

Everything was top notch!

The accommodation is a beautiful rustic style house in the street behind the village church. It features a nice pool in a well-kept yard. Our room was spacious with a good-sized bathroom too. It was very quiet since the room was at the back of the house away from the street. Property is clean and provide a very good breakfast with sweet and savoury options. You can park on the road outside the property. Pity we only stayed for one night so we will surely come again for a longer stay in the future

The toilet flushing pump needs looking into as it did not always flush well straightaway. Otherwise we cannot complain.

We enjoyed everything about Mood Farmhouse! The building is beautifully decorated, well-kept, comfortable and clean. We had one of spacious upstairs rooms with a balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool courtyard and the surrounding countryside. Breakfasts were exceptional: lots of different things to choose from each day, all delicious! Not only was Federico was there to greet us each morning and make sure we had everything we needed, but he was also brimming with ideas of how we might spend our day, which were the best places to eat out and how to get the best out of our time on the island. His recommendations were brilliant. We had an absolutely wonderful time and would definitely stay there again when we return to Gozo. Grazie mille, Federico!

Absolutely stunning place! Fredrico & Claudia were exceptional hosts and made us feel so welcome for the entirety of our stay. Nothing was too much of an ask for them. If you're after a quiet holiday, then this place is ideal, rather than Malta which is much busier. We travelled round in a Hired Scooter which was really handy as everywhere we visited locally was only a 10 minute drive. The food at this place was incredible. Every morning before eating, we headed into the Yoga space for a stretch and meditiation - this was on our own accord, not planned but I do believe they have planned sessions, perhaps in the summer months as we visited during the quiet months in Feb. The pool was beautiful but we didn't dare dip with the colder weather. And our room was stunning! Beds were so comfortable and roomy - Pillows were great!! And each room had a smart TV. Would 1000% recommend this place and we hope to be back in the summer!!

Our shower flooded on the last day but we didn't have any problems up until then and both hosts were super apologetic and accommodating to quickly fix this issue.

We had a wonderful stay at Mood Farmhouse in Gozo – it felt like a home away from home. The charming ambience, great pool to get relaxed and exceptionally clean rooms made our experience even more enjoyable. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure both we and our baby felt completely comfortable. They even thought about our baby’s dietary needs. The location is also perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and local spots. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay in Gozo! Thank you Federico!

Place where you feel like a home away from home. Place, where you want to stay and definitely come back one day. Everything was more than expected: great location - easy reach the most scenic part of the island, great restaurant in central, local shop very good equipped, friendly and warm local people.. My room was on the top overlooking village. Comfy bed, huge bathroom.. All house definitely different than I stayed so far. Great, relaxing stay far away from the rush. Breakfast delicious with lots options and fantastic coffee. Federico - the owner made this stay even better, got lots tips for visiting island, thanks a lot. And hopefully will back one day. Definitely recommend

Everything was perfect, only what I don’t like is a day when needed leave

Federico was the best host ever. We landed in Valletta past 2am and he helped us in arranging a private car for us to go to the accommodation. He gave very clear instructions for the self check in since we arrived at around 4am, and when we got to the room, it was exactly what we needed after such a tiring day. It was very cozy and clean and very Maltese. Breakfast is usually from 8am/830am until 930am, but on our first day since we had a schedule and had to leave the house by 7am, he happily prepared the breakfast earlier for us to be able to enjoy it. He also tries to keep the breakfast going until past 930am since we would have trouble waking up early. He was so accommodating and friendly and he definitely made our stay so memorable.
