A nice little hotel in a more quiet location compared to the harbour area. Within walking minutes of the seafood restaurants, night market etc. Beautiful, comfortable room. Staff was friendly and made an effort to help. Free filtered water - great to reduce single-use plastic water bottles. Just in case you're allergic, be aware: There is a cat living in the main hallway, and all shoes should stay in the hallway.

The staff was super friendly, clean rooms, the bathroom was clean, no weird odor, the other guests were super friendly and weren't noisy at all. The homestay had an indoor cat, a Persian one (Mimi) and a kitten (McDonald) *pat pat McDonald, super clingy and cute).

The lighting was quite bad in the room and the light from the common room can leak from the doorframe, but didn't bother our stay

1)Very comfort bed - we can immediately fall to sleep and short rest for the entire 3 days! Good recharge ！ 2）Good room - Spacey & clean, hair dryer inside the room, sufficient plug point, sufficient hanging space & hook 3) Excellent bath room -enjoy shower with strong water pressure, fast hot heater, sufficient hanger, toiletries set provided 4) Good facilities - washing machine, space to hang/dry wet clothing, sufficient hanger & click, mini kitchen, freezer, iron set, 5) Lovely balcony - perfect rest & morning exercise 6) Someone help to put in all the clothing during night time so not wet by rain 6) Safety - access card to enter and balcony locked during night time. Ladies - you are safe to stay here 7) Drinking water - both hot & cold is available ! 8) Prefect location - next to Chinese restaurant, walking distance to a supermarket and laundry shop , opposite is a diving & snorkeling shop, 5 minutes walk to jetty.

good location - walkable to the public jetty in 10 minutes. there are durian/fruit stores in walkable distance for those who wish to indulge and I appreciated the restaurants nearby to get our food. There are also minimarts (24 hours) around the corner. GREAT value for money, friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds. There's no breakfast served, but they do sell 3in 1 packs of coffee and have hot water dispensers. Pls, if you are a compassionate human being, pls bring some food to feed the stray animals around semporna. Be kind to nature.

The place was nice, staff friendly. It was clean and the common areas like bathroom etc were fine. The room was nice and comfy, and was clean.

The room was pretty small, the common areas were very very hot and the walls were very thin so could hear everything next door. The location in general isn't the best unless youre literally staying at the port but it's okay, a shop nearby and a walk to the port and restaurants.

The staff were amazing and really enhanced the experience of my time in Semporna. The main host booked all my tours, dropped me off at the tours, picked me up, organised my transfer to Tawau airport and made plenty of local food suggestions. Thank you I had a great stay!

Lovely stay at kuree hut, clean and cosy room with communal space. Shared bathrooms are kept very clean and have supplies for your use. Perfect spot to use as a base to do the boat and diving tours. We loved the company of the house cats too.

We stayed here twice! not only did the wonderful English-speaking staff store our luggage safe and sound during our Mabul island trip, but they made our room ready for a very early check in after our boat returned. the location is excellent, a short walk from the pier (our boat drop off) and just down the street from the bus to kota. the hotel is very clean, comfortable beds with nice sheets, great AC and WiFi. Really appreciate water to refill bottles (and reduce single use plastic). shared bath was clean and never crowded. an exceptional budget option!

The other guests talked and watched their phone loudly in the common room, but they were quiet (except for snoring) by 10 pm (thanks for the sign about quiet hours!). Also there is a cat who tried to use my bag as a scratching post but there is a sign letting guests know at check in, I’m assuming accommodations can be made for allergies.

Pretty amazed with this place, it has everything to be considered convenient at your own home and so much value for the price we paid, at first we thought it was just a decent choice in between places for Semporna but it's just wow, the bed was super comfortable - last time I remembered a bed that comfortable was in some 5 star hotel in KL - no jokes!

The noise at night, pretty common if you pick a backpackers place but it's gone after midnight
