The ground floor side by side rooms for our party of 6 were convenient, comfortable and safe. We had Zero issues leaving our inflatable SUP outside our patios, along with extra camping chairs or bathing suits hung to dry on chairs overnight or while away from the rooms. The option of daily room cleaning (change of towels and restock of shampoo, body wash, coffee) was exceptional. The property is AMAZING with the pool, the lake and its many water equipment uses, and paths to walk or run. The staff are ALL helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The A/C in the rooms was great and highly appreciated during the heat wave we were in while there. We'll definitely consider returning to Manoir des sables and the area again. Such a central meeting point for our family. Thank you.

The room was clean. Great location and restaurants nearby. The hotel offers free activities, such as cross-country skiing , skating, snow shoeing and slides. Inside the hotel - pool and SPA.

Only the negative comment I have will be towards the sofabed we had in our room. It wasn't really comfortable, the mattress was quite soft and uncomfortable to sleep even for a child. My suggestion is those beds to be checked and changed. Even with this negative comment, we still had a great stay at the hotel.

The room, the staff, the parking, the lake, the pools, the spa/hot tubs, the free kayaks/paddle boards, the breakfast restos and activities nearby, well…pretty much everything was amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back next year.

Maybe update some of the paddle boards and paddles, as they were quite old/used, but not much else.

This is our 2nd time staying here. LOVE IT! Quiet, peaceful. We don't play golf, but we don't care! The quiet peacefulness of the area and cleanliness, in Orford is wonderful!!! We usually stay up the road in the next town over (for over 20 years) no more! We were able to extend this stay to make this reservation by another two days. Were hoping to get back up next weekend Labor Day weekend, it's my birthday! We are so fortunate the drive from Boston is very close and we are planning on our next trek to go to Old Quebec. We got well rested to return to our jobs, everyone was very gracious and helpful, as usual. We had asked for two specific things and received them on each trek up! We found a new eatery 4 min from the property and the food is wonderful. Also finally stopped in to the German Chocolatier's on the same road! Marvelous! Of Course short drive from Downtown Magog, where there's plenty to do and places to shop and eat! Love the community and each and every trek up we find more and more gems and meet such wonderful locals. We love Canada. On both sides my husband and myself our Ancestory is only short drives from the Hotel. Merci Merci!!

Wifi was a bit spotty later on in the later evening and morning*** One point at 2am the electricity went out in the entire village, an hour later it was restored, but the entire area was out, we were surprised as large as the hotel is they did have hall lights, stairwell lights, No Tv, we don't ever watch tv, except in the later evenings/early am. But best 5 days!! We had another reservation and this is the extended reservation. Too much fun to go home!!

The location was great for us. The room was a large suite and had a fireplace and whirlpool tub which was very nice. The staff were great. We had a massage at the spa which was fantastic. They have a nice restaurant there, but we didn’t have a chance to go as it was closed for a few days.

The place needs sprucing up as it is starting to get run down. The hot water was extremely slow to heat up. The exterior can use some paint and general repairs. The pool too.

Staff were very courteous, friendly and well informed. Our room was very clean and spacious, with a beautiful view overseeing the lake. They accommodated an earlier check-in for us and promptly answered all our inquiries prior to our stay.

Minor detail’, but most of the usb plugs in the room didn’t work so it was hard to charge our phones without a plug adapter. But we found one that worked and it didn’t end up being a problem.

- The customer service, receptionist’s work was excellent - hearing issues and listening clients with human approach are two quite different things - Nature in general, pools and rental equipment - Access to mini farm and entertainment room for kids in a hotel near by

- We had a number of issues with Booking.com support team at reservation level. My recommendation would be to call directly to the hotel instead. - the jacuzzis were dirty with overdue sensors to change water - Isolation: noise from kids and any talking people from the hallway - in general the infrastructure is getting old but they try to maintain at certain level

Balcony, space in the room

I couldn't easily request a room with acessible features when booking. Upon arrival, when I asked they could do nothing. Our room was the last room at the far end of the building. A 20 minute walk for my husband with his walker. We did enjoy the balcony but felt there may have been another room closer to the elevator that we could have been moved to as it did not seem that the facility was full. no way for my husband to get to the indoor pool which he would have used as there were no handrails to get down the steps from the changing areas.

Gave us a nice upgrade to a fireplace room.

The fan had to blast loudly beside the bed throughout the night, and while there was user control for heat (it was winter), there was no apparent way to reduce the fan. Also the grouting around behind the bathroom sink (wall side) was looking a little bit grungy/crumbly, detracting from the otherwise quite slick and tasteful room.
