The property is in a very good location within walking distance to the city center, old town, and the port. The room was cleaned every day. The host and his wife are very kind and helpful people. , the location and parking facilities are excellent. The hosts are also very sweet and nice people. We recommend it.

the room was a bit small for three people and the air conditioning was somewhat insufficient for August. Another point is that the sea is at least one hour away, so renting a car is a must to reach the beach. If your only purpose is a beach holiday, it might be a bit tiring.

It was a cozy, clean and very comfortable accommodation that felt like a home. The hosts were so kind and thought of everything, including sunscreen. There was a lot of tourist information available, and an excellent map. It is located ideally, 6 mins of walk to the railway station, 3 mins of walk to the bus which takes you to the Poeto beach. Underneath the Castle and just around the corner from a bustling pedestrian street lined with restaurants and bars, yet very quiet. I would happily stay again.

I wish there was information if the tap water was drinkable, and if not, a bottle free of charge in the bedroom, in case one arrives late.

The location is great. Right beside the excellent Botanical Garden, close to the amphitheatre, just round the corner from a range of restaurants and bars. Very tasty home-cooked bread/cake for breakfast. In theory there is a lot of free street-parking all along the street (Via Sant'Ignazio da Laconi: 20-30 places), but unless you arrive in the evening/weekend you will be lucky to find a space - so it was very useful to have the option of paying €15 to park in the courtyard.

Great host, very friendly and accommodating. Parking in the courtyard is possible for an additional fee of 15€/day, public parking costs just as much so I recommend the private one. Right around the corner is a popular pedestrian area with a lot of great restaurants and bars.

We really liked ‘Il Giardino Segreto”. For us there are 3 things – all beginning with ‘P’ – which are important. ‘P’osition; Il Giardino is a hidden gem of a quiet location and very well placed for all 4 districts of old Cagliari. There are many restaurants and bars within a 10 minute stroll. ‘P’eople; Maurizio and Sylvia are friendly and very helpful. They want their guests to have an enjoyable time in Il Giardino, in Cagliari, and in Sardinia. They have guidebooks and pamphlets in many languages. ‘P’roperty; the pictures tell you all. It has delightful décor. We were in the ‘Camera Del Melograno’ with a view into, yes, a secret garden. Our room was always spotless when we returned in the evening. Breakfast includes home-baked cakes and bread, fruit, and home-made yoghurt & jams. So – overall : 11 out of 10 !

Hosts are perfect, location is perfect, room is very clean and they are cleaning everyday.

Unfortunately, beds are really uncomfortable. I felt the springs of the bed:( when the beds were comfortable my score would be 11/10

This was a very sweet family guest house with four ensuite rooms and a communal dining room. Run by a local couple who cannot do enough for you. The guest house is literally two roads away from the centre with all it's bars and restaurants but due to being in a courtyard the rooms are very quiet. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all you would need. Breakfast is the traditional Italian sweet variety and all home made by the hostess. We would go back.

There was nowhere you could sit out in the sun and read a book if you wanted an at home day. Just the way that the accommodation is designed. Despite this we would stay again.

This B&B is in a great location, tucked away close to the old town and close to many bars & restaurants. Host was very friendly and spoke English well. Breakfast included homemade bread and jams. Great shower although bathroom is small

It was perfect for our 1 night stay. Might feel a little cramped if stayed more than 2 nights

We received a wonderful welcome by lovely hosts, Maurizio and Sylvie. The rooms were spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The '5*' breakfast was delicious with all homemade items. The shuttle service is a real bonus, especially when travelling with heavy luggage. We highly recommend this accommodation. Nothing to dislike

The guest house is quite spacious and very historic. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic location on the main restaurant street. Very kind and friendly hosts.

The street was a little noisy at night, but nothing that earplugs couldn't fix. Definitely not a problem and we slept well.
