Monica was very helpful at checkin, and took care of us quickly. Our room has the best lighting of any place we stayed during the past two weeks, and was nicely decorated; we liked the great colored accent wall. Our room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. We had requested an accessible room and Rm 402 was perfect with a wonderful walk in shower. We also had a beautiful view of the sunset. The Kickback snacks and drinks were wonderful after a full day of driving. Kadijah at the bar did an excellent job serving everyone, and stayed calm even when the lines were long. And the kitchen crew did a great job of keeping the food trays full, and the area clean. Breakfast was also enjoyable, especially the freshly made pancakes.

too many loud kids running around without supervision, not a great idea to offer three free drinks at dinner

We arrived late evening for an overnight stay on our travels. We were greeted with a smile and a friendly, professional personality. From thelobby and elevator to our room was clean and smelled good. (Some hotels have a stale smell in the hallways and elevator) Our dpuble queen room and bathroom were very clean and the beds were comfy. We could have used a few more pillows (3 on each bed) but we were there only overnight and it didn't seem that big of a deal. The floor was quite through the night....no banging doors closing at all hours. Sheets and towels smelled fresh. Breakfast was full of all your breakfast staples and piping hot. Super impressed. Overall it was a great quick stay. Would definitely return.

Everything was fine

Clean and very pretty. Nice areas to sit. The buffet/bar and dining area was laid out very well. The 5:30 kick with the 3 free drinks and food was a very pleasant surprise. The drinks were strong and the list of specialty drinks made it fun to try something different. The food was kept stocked even with a full dining room. Chili, salad, nachos, hotdogs, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, mixed vegetables and baked potatoes were all available. The breakfast bar was pretty standard except they do make pancakes to order on the griddle and the biscuits were exceptional. All staff was very friendly.

Nothing to dislike

The atmosphere was awesome. Love the popcorn in the lobby and the reading nook by the elevator. There is even a designated area to watch tv or a movie while snacking. The location was very nice. You didn't have to worry about noise from traffic because it is off the interstate. You had restaurants close in case you needed dinner. The bed was so comfortable that I missed breakfast so I didn't experience that but the lunch buffet was a very nice addition. The staff were amazing. They made you feel at home. The indoor/outdoor pool was a great idea and the hot tub was amazing. I will be visiting again soon!

I see no improvements needed.

Everything, Lana desk receptionist was very personable and knowledgeable. Manager Kim was great and helpful with questions. The lady serving cocktails was awesome. The staff including young man at Taco bar was were all great. Visit was Labor Day. The concept that Drury Plaza Hotel has is one of the best experiences we have had in staying at a hotel. Awesome dinner, and breakfast. And the offer of 3 free drinks was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Great value . Jim n Glenn

We were so surprised with the free drinks and wonderful dinner snacks which were actually a complete dinner. it was just awesome. It was nice to sit with all the other customers and talk with them. Everyone was so nice! The 2 girls at the front desk were exceptional! Everyone should be that friendly and helpful. Everyone that works there greets you with a smile. This is my new place to stay! Loved the pool area too!

there is nothing I did not like

Extremely friendly staff and a clean facility It also had a very good breakfast It's not just this hotel. The pillows they use in hotels today are terrible. I usually travel with a pillow But accidentally left it at home What happened to full length pillows? These are even regular pillows. They're small, you can't stack them your head sinks in them. Please buy better pillows When that happens, I try to find a cushion. Off a sofa of couch, there wasn't one. Couldn't sleep at all because of the pillows

This will sound redundant, but the staff is amazing. Can’t remember how many reviews I read that mentioned the excellent staff, but there are plenty and they are 100% correct. Check in was super fast - when we arrived there were three parties ahead of us & we were prepared for a wait as there was only one person working reception. She checked in everyone in front of us & then us in less than 10 minutes, all with a smile & helpful advice re: dinner, breakfast, wifi, all the important stuff. The bartender acted like she was absolutely delighted to be making drinks for the crowd. Again, there might be a line but it moved super fast & everyone was just so friendly! We will absolutely look for Drury Inn’s for future travels. They are remodeling a bit, but didn’t bother us at all in our room. Our grandson (5) said “I don’t know why they’re redoing it, it’s already beautiful.” It is nicely done, and kudos to them for keeping it up.

Nothing to complain about.

I absolutely love that meals are included in the price! Breakfast consists of eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits, cereal, yogurt, grits, etc. Dinner varies each night. The beds are comfortable, and there was little to no noise on our floor in the evening.

I know people LOVE their pets, but it would fantastic if all of the pet owners and their fur babies could be on ONE floor together instead of scattered. Some guests are allergic (yes they can find another hotel, but sometimes it may not be that simple depending on the circumstances), or others could be sensitive to noise.
