Large, spacious and clean two bedded room with very good access to local shops and Abel Tasman National Park. The spa bath was an added treat.

Very tight parking and quite noisy from traffic in the morning and evening. It advertises a bbq area but that wasn’t evident. When I enquired I was advised that “someone probably had one in the past; we can try to find it”.

The Nautilus Motel is perfectly located on the main street. Parking is very conveniently located. The room was very comfortable with good kitchen facilities and WiFi. There is a patio area outside the room to enjoy a quiet tipple.

The patio had no separation from our neighbours which could be a problem. Fortunately our neighbours were good ones.

Great location, 1 min walk to the main high street and 20 minutes drive to Abel Tasmin. The rooms was clean and tidy with plenty of space and a semi private outside area (next to the street but with high shrubbery to aid privacy. The staff where really friendly and helpful.

Staff were great & made you feel welcome at the motel. The room was great, Warm & the bed was very comfortable. Facilities in room were as expected for modern Motels these days. Would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly owners, clean, perfect location, lots of space.

We asked for a quiet room away from the road noise, but we were pretty close and there was al lot of noise. Perhaps time to invest in double glazing? Kitchen could also do with an upgrade.

Great central location. Spacious, clean & comfortable room. Owners extremely helpful, supplying us with cooking facilities which weren't in our room price. They also let us keep our bikes in their garage

Meticulously clean, surprisingly quiet, grateful for the air conditioning, good location. Owners are friendly and I also appreciated the availability of a guest laundry.

The only thing that would have made this place not just better, but exceptional would be a king bed ... and I'm being super picky.

very quiet in the evenings yet within walking distance of the town centre. ideal to visit Golden Bay and Able Tasman national park plenty of shops and eateries nearby

A lovely spacious room offering a large living area and large bathroom , 2 balconies, lots of seating, a good kitchen and aircon. The room was handy to amenities and attractions. We will definitely stay here again 😊

The suite was very spacious. The jacuzzi bath was a welcome bonus. The property was a short walk from shops and restaurants.

Everything was a fine but a bit more storage space would be useful and a place for the second suit case.
