Great little motel in a quiet street near Tahunanui Beach and just 5 minutes from the airport. The two bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable, with a good little kitchen and nice bathroom. The pool was lovely and my kids spent lots of time in it. The pool has a very shallow end, and the deep end isn't that deep either, so would be good for families with young children too. Would happily stay here again.

We had no complaints at all. Be aware that the owners have a friendly labrador dog who likes to play and isn't shy about wandering in to your room if the door is open. Not an issue for us, but could be for some people.

I like that it is in a great location. It made it easy to find any shop or place that we wanted to go to. This place has a pool which is awesome they even provide you with towels for the pool. It has a wee playground for kids to play on which is a bonus The best part for me was meeting Meg the dog she's absolutely gorgeous and came to our door each morning or evening wanting to play with the kids and get some pats.. The kids loved her. The rooms were very tidy. The kitchen is provided with a fully functioning oven which is so handy. The bathroom is fantastic and the shower is nice. It's got good pressure. There is also a pull out sofa bed that my son said was very comfortable. My bed was comfortable as well with clean crisp sheets.. The lady at the desk was nice and provided me with some milk. The cleaning staff were also great. Lovely and friendly. They came to our door and provided us with fresh clean towels, took the wet ones, took our rubbish away and gave us more coffee and sugar. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would love to stay here again in the future.

The walls are a bit paper thin. You can hear your neighbors a bit but it wasn't too bad. The kitchen has a small bar fridge and the tv is on the tiny side but that's ok I'm used to staring at a 55" lol Just a few suggestions: It would be good though if the room had a flat tray or two for pizzas for the oven and a couple of plastic mixing bowls and some wooden spoons. But it's all good I got by. I'm sure if I asked at reception they would've helped me out

A spacious 2 bed unit, but not the one bed we had booked! Comfortable bed, very well equipped kitchen. Lovely modern bathroom, excellent shower and a separate toilet. Excellent WiFi Good location, quiet area. Very comfy sofa, and nice dining set. Helpful staff regarding laundry.

Just a couple of observations..... I had to ask for a clothes dryer (white plastic type) as i wanted to dry our towels, to try and save unnecessary washing. One was provided, then the housekeeping swept the towels away anyway. Lack of bedside lamps....only overhead ceiling spotlights.

Lovely Friendly and helpful owners. Very clean and serviced daily. Good selection of teas coffee etc and fresh milk on arrival. Nice beach walk to Nelson which took us about an hour. Also serviced well by number 2 bus. Near to the airport and number 4 bus takes you straight there.

No air con or heat. Room got very hot during the day. Although a great location for the beach and accessing much of the able Tasman area by car. We were on foot for a couple of days and found there to be limited places to eat in the evening. Although the smugglers was good and a short walk away. There is some air craft noise but stops over night and didn’t worry us at all

Nice, cosy, comfortable rooms and the staff were really friendly. Good location, pretty close to the main town, with a dairy a short walk away. Lovely chocolate lab who loved to come visit and play!

We had booked a 2 bedroom with a fold-out couch in the lounge, unfortunately that isn't what we got. The staff were very helpful and provided us with a trundle bed for my son but we ended up dragging one of the single mattresses into the lounge. So if you need the extra bed might pay to check before you arrive.

The location was close yet far enough for quiet time and ease of access when we needed. All our rooms were close to one another and we all had our own private spaces to escape to. The owners and house keeping were lovely and friendly made our stay all that more enjoyable.

Only one gripe was the shower - it’s a little dated and when turned on seems to run directly out the door - appeared to be positioned in the wrong place - otherwise it still did the trick of cleaning us.

Super amazing and friendly owners. Very kid friendly with play ground and pool and a lovely dog that lives there too. Great parking, and could accommodate our trailer. rooms were comfy, clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend and we will be back to stay on our next trip to Nelson!

We can’t thank our hosts enough for making sure we had the right room for me. I needed a room with a shower as I broke my ankle and I can’t put weight on it. The location is perfect as nice restaurants are nearby. Easy to explore Nelson from this location.

Everything we needed for a quick overnight stop in on our travels from Auckland to Bluff. Reception open late which was great for us as we got in a lot later than expected! Only booked a few hours before arriving so stoked that everything was ready to go for us.

Nice quiet location. Clean and tidy. Parking right outside rooms. Wonderful, friendly hosts along with their beautiful chocolate lab Meg. Playground and swimming pool. Highly recommended.
