Very clean and well maintained place to stay while visiting Nelson. Swimming is pool is great and very clean too. Good shower water pressure. Fan was a lifesaver in the heat. Location is brilliant with the beach a very short walk away. Plenty of cafe, restaurant options and maccas is across the road....

Unfortunately, the beds aren't great. Very bouncy/springy mattress that feels cheap and is just ok for comfort. The shower is very small. We had no wi-fi for most of our 4x night stay. Our hosts were trying to get the issue fixed but this was a bit disappointing all the same. I was a bit concerned about room security. A random person shouldn't be able to put their hand through a partially open window from the outside and open the entry/exit door. I suggest cleaners leave the window by this door closed or close it when guests are staying in a room.

Had a really good sleep every night during my stay because the rooms are soundproof which is awesome. I travel a lot for work and this was the best sleep I’ve had in a motel for months. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, and close to beach.

There is no garden or private outdoor area other than the carpark / pool area which is the only downfall of this place. Faces the road so no views.

We had a sweet room with a fancy pyramid shaped sun light in the roof. The beds seemed a little soft for our liking at first but were perfectly fine in the end. The host gave us a warm welcome, fresh milk, and even helped us carry the luggage to our room. And my wife took the option to greet the cute dogs (otherwise out of the way).

The drying rail in the bathroom could be a little bigger for four people.

The Motel was very handy to walk to the beach and good eating places. Bus stop right outside for 10 minute ride into Nelson. The room and bed very comfortable. The staff all very friendly and obliging. Would recommend it to anyone.

Only a box of tissues would have been nice!

Awesome location, friendly welcome on arrival. Good sized rooms, comfy beds. Nice little pool, though we didn't use it on this occasion.

Lack of privacy from outdoors when in room, unless we closed the curtains, maybe some blinds would allow guests to look out but prevent passers by from looking in? No air-conditioning, so really warm during our stay, a fan is provided, but not a fan of these at night time.

This is a great place for families! Lovely clean rooms, pool and BBQ area. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Rooms were equipped with everything needed. Walkable to every attraction a child could hope for - beach, park, family restaurants, hydroslide, zoo, bumper boats, crazy golf, laser tag, Go Carts. We didn’t discover it sooner.

I stayed at this motel recently, and it was really, really great! The rooms were super clean and comfy, and the location was awesome – close to the beach, shops, and food places. But the best part was the owner. They were so nice and friendly. If you want a clean and comfy motel with friendly people, this place is the best. I can't wait to come back for another awesome stay!

The property was exceptionally clean, both the room and the grounds, guest laundry and the swimming pool. It was situated within walking distance of cafes and pubs. The room was quiet and dark for a restful sleep. The managers were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

There was nothing to dislike. Being summer, maybe flyscreens on the windows could have been handy.

The location made you quite central for what we had planned to do. The pool was very inviting, and the proprietors very approachable and helpful.

Like most stays away from home, the bed and furniture were sorced at a set cost. The road works which started at midnight were a bit of a shock , the party next door sounded good if you were there and the stairs outside our door were specially designed to amplify any step anyone makes. The most frustrating thing was the wifi. We had the furtherest room from the source and nearly had me in tears of frustration. A mesh might be in order.

Awesome hosts, loved the attention given when I checked in and throughout stay, the friendly atmosphere of your facility made my stay more pleasurable. Rooms were clean, bed was amazing and I appreciated the room selection you made. Highly recommend staying here.
