Good location with easy access to the beach & restaurants. Proprietors are very friendly, and the room was well cleaned.

The property & wheelchair accessible room are not overly accessible. Not possible for a wheelchair user to get into the laundry, or the kitchenette in the room. Could only get into the bathroom by substantially moving the bed. There is also no ramp to get from the car park onto the path to the room. Great for someone with mild mobility issues, but not for someone full time in a wheelchair.

We based ourselves here as it was close to the airport, almost half way into the city and stayed either side of our Great walk. Our studio room with spa bath was great, plenty of space, comfortable bed, kitchenette, TV, air conditioning, a great bathroom, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. The outside table and chairs were a nice touch. Close to eating and drinking options. The team were friendly and accommodating and stored our other bag while we tramped. Check in and checkout seamless, thanks for a great stay.

Very spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean apartment. Situated conveniently between Nelson Airport and the city centre and within 5 minutes walk of the golden sandy beach. While there isn't a supermarket nearby, there is a wide selection of eateries in the neighbourhood. We were impressed with the amenities in our unit large screen TV with Sky, very comfortable lounge seating and well equipped kitchen.

Very spacious rooms with all the facilities I may need. Well equipped kitchenette, air conditioning, sky TV, spacious bathroom and in a good location, especially if you are visiting the beach. Lots of choices for dining out within walking distance. Friendly owner who was happy to look after my luggage once I checked out and had a late flight. Easy access to local airport.

I was super tired when I stayed here as I had just completed a 4 day hike so I fell fast asleep, however, it is located on a main road and my room was at the front so I can imagine it can get a bit noisy. It didn't impact me but it may bother some.

Fam needed to crash after a nightmare return from Europe. This suited the bill just fine. Host happily allowed an early check in which was much appreciated as we needed to crash and waiting around for check in would have been a killer. Unit was clean, beds comfy, seperate room for the kids great, all sky channels and a shower over the bath also sold the deal..

Decor could use an update, but a good pick for our purposes.

Exceptional unit, all the mod cons were there separate rooms for us two guest staying, making life really enjoyable with waking each other up lol. Comfy beds and great surroundings add to the charm. A central location for easy access in and out of the city if required.

Traffic on the main road can be an issue at peak times to get out of the driveway from, due to limited views

What an amazing stay! Was a surprise night away for us, was my daughters treasure box treat for her great learning at school. Had a map and clues each town we went through. Was such fun, so easy to book, smugglers for dinner was incredible too just round the corner. Comfort for us all 10/10 Toyworld, hunting and fishing and mitre10 within 5min drive. Was fantastic, will definitely be back

Shame we only had one night here as it would have been a brilliant base had we had longer in the area. Very friendly and welcoming host. Very well located near shops and the bay - lovely to walk along in the evening. Facilities were excellent - hob for cooking + microwave, and plenty of space. Close to several options for eating out - heartily recommend the Thai restaurant close by.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was quite large with a table for eating and writing and an extra comfortable chair. The motel is quaint. The apartments look like half-timbered houses. Probably the reason for the reference to Tudors in its name.

It was a bit noisy. Our apartment was really close to a road with a lot of traffic early mornings. Walls were thin. We could clearly hear neighboring guest taking a shower and going to the toilet.
