The owner kelly very pretty and outside and inside all beautiful, friendly and polite and very helpful , the staff who worked in kitchen very inspired with cheerful and very kind with compassion to people , and others all friendly and say hi to you , the room tidy very much and the bathroom very clean the garden how big and the green land amazing , plenty car parking and everyone long term people very friendly kind and show smile from heart , all the local kiwi people experience precious , and I suggestion you not listen any negativity from others comments Bec your need try it to observe , your can’t find any place like this place such gem hidden and your can’t find any nice people like here , and the old lady who lived here long term encourage me and come sit down beside me she saw I was along and cheers me up : you need people around you turn you up not let you down . ❤️‍🩹 Thank you happy apple backpacker , this amazing place really good

Great facilities and grounds. Well organised. Good location. Friendly staff and guests. Great way to meet other travelers. Loved the pool table in the evenings.

Some people were not so good at cleaning up after themselves when most others did.

This is a lovely place sunny and warm. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable The Kitchen was clean and met my needs as far as cooking went The bathrooms were clean and smelt nice The owners was a lovely lady and very helpful.

refrigerators were full. not sure if all the food belonged to people currently staying in the hotel or just left overs from people who already left the place. some noise came from next door business .

Lovely stay, great atmosphere and the kindest people running this place! We forgot a pair of hiking shoes in our room and Happy Apple helped us shipping a parcel to our next stay! Golden Star in customer service!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was a clean and tidy place. The facilities and staff were great! My family and I wished we had been able to stay at least another night.

If there were fans in the rooms that might have made our stay more comfortable as it was a very humid evening.

Kelly the manageress was gorgeous & very helpful supplying us herbs & vegetables & fruit from her garden. I wish there were two of her !!!

Good facilities in the kitchen and the lounge had a pool table and tv. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Kitchen fridges need to be cleaned more regularly and the freezer must be defrosted.

Good Prices for the service, clean and excellent wifi.

Problem with the room because another people told us that they have booked. Staff did not answer the phone after 7 p.m. (It was in New Year Eve).

The lady in the office was very pleasant and went the extra mile to give me a lift as my van broke down. The facilities were clean and tidy and other guests were very respectful.
