Our room got upgraded so instead of having to split our family up we could all stay together. We had a sink/jug/toaster in our room but had to request cutlery/plates but that was easy enough. Showers were hot and close to our room. Coffee provided included Latte sachets which was a nice surprise. Greatly appreciated.

Appears to be partly renovated in the hallway so was a little rough but the rooms themselves were nice enough. No carpet in the hall meant it was a little loud when people were walking around. Better care could be taken when cleaning as we found a couple of other people’s things under our bed while checking for anything we lost! Kitchen wasn’t open (Monday night) which was a shame as we were wanting to try the pizza!

Common facilities were clean and tidy and in good condition. Lovely upstairs balcony

I was expecting the loud music but should have checked the closing time. I expected a little after midnight it it was after 2am on NYE

Function was at the Hotel so very convenient

Expectations were not that high as old fashioned Pub but beds were very comfortable Noise was not a problem as function was in the Hotel and we stayed until band finished

We loved the staff, the owner wasnt there when we arrived but came to meet us when he returned back to hotel. Lovely man friendly couldn't ask for more.Loved the band as there 8 of us and just traveled from north island some of our friends were tired so they stayed up stairs in rooms music wasn't a problem. Thank you too staff scotty, owner for having us and looking after us we will be back.

There is nothing we didnt like. We will return. Loved our showers. We knew what to expect but totally opposite not one problem for our group

Best place for people who like good food, beers, music, meeting locals, and having an own room for little money.

Showers and furniture quite old and down, but fully functional.

Great staff and vibe. The name says it all loud music, they didn't lie. Cant sleep just go join the party, great beats and cold beer. Plenty off street parking out back. Would book again

The accommodation upstairs could do with a rebuild for sure, she's an old girl but with plenty of character and charm
