It was the best breakfast that I have ever received in a Hotel. The staff was very helpful and did not shy away from communicating with translator as i am not able to speak French. In my home country exists a saying "Living like god in France" to describe very good living conditions. After I have stayed in La Closerie, I understand where that saying comes from!

I only disliked that I had to leave after only two nights. I would have liked to stay longer but my travel schedule did not allow for it. I will definitely come back whenever I get a chance!

La Closerie is an architectural gem. It sits behind massive gates which open onto a perfect picture. The garden is well kept and stimulating. Even the plants are labelled. The staircase is superb. The lounge area is grand. Everywhere you turn there are beautiful pieces of art or furniture. Somehow within this grand space the hosts achieve a remarkable sense of welcome. The breakfast was superb. There were even some items to buy for last minute gifts!!! Home made of course. This is a hidden gem not too far from Paris.

Actually everything: the room, the garden, the breakfast, the host, all very nice, very pleasant.

If you don’t have your own transport it is somewhat far from places like restaurants. We had a car so it was no problem.

What a unique, exceptional place. From the beautiful gardens (a gardeners paradise, as every plant had beautiful slate labels of the species) and potager to the art deco designed house and stylish interiors. Really friendly and warm reception, just every detail was perfect, Best breakfast ever! Crepes, fruit, homemade fig jam, etc Lovely teas & little cakes in the room, joy!

Beautiful property and gardens with secure private parking.The hosts are very accommodating and we enjoyed a quiet, relaxing overnight stay followed by a lovely breakfast.

Gorgeous house with tastefully decorated rooms. Beautiful garden. Charming host. A real treat. And for Brits passing through there is a very good Indian restaurant 2km away! Really could not fault it in any way.
