Christmas at Albrighton Hall. Staff were Amazing and worked so hard, nothing was too much trouble. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast (included) excellent Quiet location with beautiful views. Short drive/taxi into town. Spa was wonderful
We booked a spa getaway for Christmas. On arrival we find the spa shut from 3pm Christmas Eve - boxing day. Christmas dinner fully booked so there was no options on Christmas day for a meal. Gym facilities weren't advertised No water/drink facilities within the spa. Room - Radiator jammed on No tea/coffee/shower gel but this was soon rectified. Would definitely recommend but check with the hotel before arrival so you know what facilities are available and meal options

The loveley scenic pond and surrounding countryside . The quiet warm clean spacious room in the stables with Extra touches like a fridge, luxury soap, shampoo and body moisturiser. Being able to check out at 12 noon
The bed was quite hard which meant a disturbed nights sleep. Despite getting a cheaper deal on the room from booking.com I think£20 per night extra for a dog is a bit expensive . Most hotels only charge £10 - £15. Some hotels charge more for the first night but then don’t charge for further nights but at this hotel it would be £20 each night . It’s a shame because I would like to book again but if I stayed for 3 nights this would mean another £60. I think booking.com need to state in their information the cost for taking a dog as it is never clear .

Convenient for where I was going (funeral). Choice of food served in bar, or restaurant.
Few staff for such a vast establishment. Bathroom in room showing its age - taps / shower needing an upgrade. Sink slow to drain - needed maintenance.

Very comfortable and what you'd expect of a hotel like this. Facilities were all available except aromatherapy room which was undergoing renovations during my stay. I was very impressed. It's also such a peaceful location to relax. I'd definitely suggest for a couples or solo getaway. They do have an area with outdoor chess and a small football field for the kids too. I travelled alone as a tourist of sorts and was extremely impressed with almost everything.
Obviously this is a pricier option in the area! That can't be helped. However, there were some loose or missing tiles in the pool. And the walk to the closest bus stop is a little longer than the website would have you believe! I also had a spa treatment cancelled due to preexisting conditions, and I do wish I'd been informed that it would exclude me due to policy so I could book a different treatment, rather than finding out on day. However they did give me a refund and were very kind about it.

Very beautiful location, lovely rustic decor, staff were very friendly. We had a Superior room with sofa bed which was very large and not far from the entrance. Spa was ok, there is 3 different types of Saunas, a Steam Room and an ice room which were lovely. Food and drink in the bar was really nice and not too expensive. Breakfast in the morning was also really nice! (Book the night before as it is about £6 cheaper).
Not a lot of information provided by staff at check in, such as where to find the spa/bar/restaurant etc. The sofa bed was not made up but this may have been on purpose so the sofa could be used. However the sheet for the sofa bed was dirty and the pillows were bobbled and not very “hotel like”. We did arrange for balloons and chocolate to be added to the room for £15 however this was not done (the staff did rectify this with a refund and a free drink which was good). The main thing was that the Jacuzzi/hot tub was out of order! We were not informed of this on check in or before and there was no sign of it getting fixed and the indoor pool was really really cold! They could have made the pool a lot warmer to make up for there being no Jacuzzi.

Outstanding building and grounds enhanced by the beautiful weather we experienced during our stay. We ate in both the Oak room and bar and the food was excellent. Staff were very good with my gluten free requirements. Our room in the stables building was very spacious and clean with a conveniently placed safe in the wardrobe. Very comfortable bed. Excellent location for Shrewsbury, Powys Castle and Attingham Park but the hotel sign is easy to miss. We didn't use the spa.
The hotel was extremely busy with back to back weddings and our room wasn't serviced on the second day. We also had to ask twice for a bedside light bulb to be changed. We appreciate how busy the staff were but felt the weddings took priority over ordinary guests. I had to ask for a bathmat as the non-slip surface in the bath is ineffective in room 81 and it was very slippery.

The setting amazing, the staff excelled, loved our bedroom.Lots of areas inside and out very relaxing.Food great, ate in Oak room
Prefer individual breakfast rather that hot food left out..though I do understand as it was so busy with coach parties. We had spa treatments which we felt was rushed, staff didn't look at our personal info nor any feedback at the end. My info was left on the chair until my sister pointed it out that it should be filed away for safety. Just 1 point, signage on road was not very noticeable, other visitors said the same, guy in garage said many people stopped him to ask where hotel is.

The main building, as well as the annexe I was staying in were both lovely on the outside and the grounds were similarly beautiful. The room was spacious and well decorated with a comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom. The welcome I received by the member of staff on duty (Leah) was first class - many thanks for making me feel so at home.
The internal fixtures are just starting to look and feel a little tired and would perhaps benefit from a little spruce up. Sadly the main light fitting in my room (32) did not work, though the lamps were working well I didn't experience any of the restaurant / bar facilities and the hotel couldn't do a lot a little the heat on the day I stayed. They did provide a fan and the room had been left with the windows open and curtains closed to try and keep the heat down.

The property is stunning & the grounds are beautiful. Incredibly peaceful & relaxing but lots to see within a short drive. The rooms were clean & comfortable. I required a disability friendly room. This wasn’t a problem & we didn’t incur extra charges for needing this. The Spa was lovely. I had a facial & the therapist was lovely yet very professional.
There was nothing to dislike. Perhaps the only thing some may notice would be that the decor in SOME areas (not all!) is a little dated. Maybe this is to fit with the aesthetic of the building but didn’t impact our stay or our opinion of the place.

I loved the building and the grounds. Our dinner was nice in the restaurant. The guys serving at the bar were efficient and friendly.
The rooms are tired and could do with an update. The restaurant area is oldly worldly but it's dusty and also needs a good freshen up. I didn't like that with both breakfast and dinner, tables were being cleared and set up for the next meal around us as we were trying to eat, it felt like we were being rushed. Surely that could wait until we are finished. There was a coach tour in and so they were busy in the morning but us and another couple waited 15 minutes for eggs to be replenished we had told them they had run low.
