The quiet environment.

We were expecting a restaurant. Upon arrival, we found out there had not been a restaurant for a couple of months. This made for a change in plans after we arrived, we were not expecting to go shopping for groceries. We never saw one staff member while we were there for three days. Hence there was only coffee in the cupboard. A couple of tea bags would have been nice. The wifi did not work for my iPad. However, my husband was able to gain access. There was no iron or ironing board. I should have doubled checked at check-in. .

Easy quick check in. Quaint little cottages Shaded in the trees, with picnic tables. Kitchen, well stocked, nice bedding. Good fans for cooling. Very clean, cool unique old cabins. With fireplaces.

Our cabin was the only one without a picnic table. The bathroom is small, spiders in shower. The coffee pot didn’t work, but maybe that was my fault. The cabin smelled musty when we first walked in. The windows, when open have no screens/locks. Near highway.

The property was located in a well treed lot with small cabins spread out to provide a rustic and natural environment. No need to go through a lobby to get to our room. It has a small balcony/deck, with patio door, among trees.

It came with a fridge, but it DID NOT come with a MICROWAVE. The mattress was exceptionally high from the floor. Good for exceptionally tall people, but not so for shorter people. The Malahat highway has a median barrier to prevent left turns. U-turn locations were provided at intervals. So if you missed your turn, you'd have to go to the next turn to come around. A loop could take up to 10 minutes. We did several loops in the first two days.

Quiet, good location to a wedding we were attending. Nice small kitchen. Great little cabins to stay at. Family run operation and very helpful. Was relatively close to Victoria, we drove in and out multiple times over our stay. They were always working keeping the property looking good and things clean.

Older cabins but overall nice accommodations. We typically stay at 4/5 star hotels but due to a quick trip, lack of hotels, and location to venue we were very happy.

I didn't have high expectations, judging by the value, but was very pleasantly surprised. A quiet wooded area, comfortable bed, and all the amenities I needed for an overnight stay (Fridge, coffee, tv, shower, wifi). A small unit, but more than enough room for a couple. It was only 20 minutes into Mechosin from here and saved me nearly $250 over if I had booked closer. I was genuinely pleased with my stay, and would return again or recommend to a friend anytime.

If I had to look for a complaint, it would be the inoperable smoke detector. The wired detector had been unplugged, which was only noted since I'm a little neurotic about fire safety in buildings I'm unfamiliar with. Otherwise, this was a 10/10 for a place of this value.

Cozy little cabins with a kitchen that had pretty much everything you need to cook a meal which we did. Wifi was good and the lady who checked us in was very nice and friendly.

A little close to the hwy so if you wanted to sit outside it may be a little annoying. But in the cabin you could barely hear it.

Nice grounds, well maintained and cozy cottage like feel. Private location.

The sliding door was a bit tricky to open and lock back up, but nothing that couldn't be worked out. The location is a bit isolated but still drive-able to Victoria and other nearby attractions.

Our room was clean and comfortable, it was nice to have a kitchen to cook in if we wanted to . The owners were really nice and they allowed my dogs all in all staying here made our holiday ,we will be going back. This is not 5 star accommodation this is comfortable living clean, neat, and cozy.

Sweet, well appointed bungalows. I didn't notice the new AC tower until the next morning so slept with window open. Still really nice temperature and slept very well. Just off the highway, so easy to reach. Lots of space for my dog and I to romp around and play. I was very happy there.

Highway noise died down by early evening, so it's proximity wasn't an issue. Room a bit musty, but just needed an airing and was all good.

Perfect location if you want peace and quiet. About 40 mins from Victoria so didn’t have all the big city noises. We stayed in a one bedroom cabin. It was great having a kitchen.

Bed was a little hard for my liking but at least it wasn’t all broken down,
