Looks like it was newly renovated or redecorated. Right across the street from the beach!! Price for the location was excellent!!

Had a couple of problems with the electronic door lock, but quickly resolved. Garbage disposal installed, but no switch to be able to use it. Light fixture above sink (I think), but no power/bulbs/switch to be able to use it. Only had bathroom towels, no wash cloths or kitchen towels (we had a kitchenette unit).

Parking was free. The wifi was reliable. The host was VERY helpful and understanding. The beds were SO comfortable and clean. The location was AMAZING, and everyone from all the restaurants and bars was super friendly!!! So I would definitely book again! With a little more planning on my part. Haha

The bathroom was pretty clean, except one of the smaller towels was stained and had hair stuck in it and the toilet seat could have used a better scrub. Unfortunately, we didn't know about the tsunami advisory or the sewage issue coming from Tijuana, so we didn't get to go in the water.

Ideal location, directly across the street from the beach⛱️ . Close to restaurants & pubs. The suite we stayed in was comfortable & had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. Quick drive to Coronado or North Island by taking the Silver Strand.

Other than the housekeepers, there is no inn staff on the premises. The beach is often closed due to the sewage flowing up from the Tijuana River. There is also a VERY foul stench in the air, which is another issue, but apparently Imperial Beach has a campaign going to get is under control

The location of the property was perfect. Super convenient being walking distance from the beach. A lot of food options to chose from also.

I didn’t like that 24/7 service wasn’t available. In the middle of the night the toilet flooded and I urgently needed a plunger LOL. Thankfully the guys from 7/11 was able to lend me one however it was a little bit of an inconvenience. Also, there’s no A/C in the room but wasn’t too much of a problem with the windows open it did from time to time feel somewhat moist or humid in the room though especially after showering.

The location was amazing it was so peaceful there. The room was a little small and we could hear our neighbors but it was still comfortable and cozy. This is a hidden jem of a hotel everything was perfect even the annoying stuff I mentioned. It was just absolutely beautiful there. And we love we could have our fur children!

What I mentioned previously: the room was small and the walls were thin so we could hear our neighbors. But it wasn’t that bad and we still had a blast! Like I said even the things we didn’t like we tolerated and were okay because the property is perfect in our eyes!

We liked the staff and the manager, who were extremely helpful in our stay in our questions. The location was near the ocean (Imperial Beach). Walking distance to the the beach and excellent places to eat at. The night was quiet. We enjoyed our stay, we would do it again.

Well, truly the bathroom sink wasn't draining too well. The bathroom sink could use a little maintenance and the bathtub, should be replaced with a shower. Upgrade the bathroom. That's just what we felt was wrong with it.

Everything about this property and our stay was beyond anything I was expecting. We stayed 1 night and in just that night it felt like home. The location, the view, absolutely magical. I will definitely be back. I can’t recommend this little slice of paradise enough. Phenomenal!!!!

Construction was happening next property over (my stay was in August 2023), so waking up on Wednesday and Thursday morning to construction noise by 8am. Looks like construction will be going strong for another month or two. No AC, so windows needed to be open to cool room, which also means you can hear everyone (people at motel, people walking the street, cars driving by) around you. If you are sensitive to noise when you sleep, consider these situations. Ear plugs will help if you are a person who can sleep with them.

Great location literally steps away from the beach and many great restaurants and cafes!

To be honest, the bed was not very comfortable and created some aches and pains. There is no hair dryer and you are provided only one set of towels so we needed to buy beach towels.

It is contactless property. There are no staff on site. You have to text pictures of your ID and text them in order to register. The only communication was by text. Call me old fashioned, but I like to have some human interaction.
