Access to a tiki bar, pool and the river make this. place you don’t even have to leave to have multiple days of enjoyment. The gentlemen in charge of the hotel is the most accommodating and friendly hotel manager I have ever encountered and his exceptional service will be one of the main reasons I will never stay anywhere else in Lake Lure besides Geneva Hotel. I came here years back and the renovations to this place have made it hands-down the best place to stay in the area.

The bar closes a bit earlier than expected but isn’t uncommon for that area.

it’s next to the river, which is perfect for swimming. it’s walking distance from the flowering bridge as well. short drive to good restaurants. the bar had nice drink options and was open decent hours.

Clean property, perfect location, excellent staff. The sheets were sooo soft and cold feeling, I even took a picture so I can purchase when I get home.

Walls are thin, a couple next door fought until 2am and then got up at 7am fighting again. We didn’t let it ruin our stay but it would’ve been a problem if we’d had our kids. I would also recommend to the property to have QR codes in the rooms to tip the maid via Venmo and Cashapp for people like me that don’t carry cash but needed to leave a cleaning tip.

Great hotel, located about 1/2 mile from Lake Lure swimming area. Great swimming pool and a Tiki Bar right beside. The bar was great and served a great cheeseburger, though I found it a bit expensive at $18 (w/fries). The hotel looks older from the outside, but our room was nicely updated, clean and beds were comfortable.

The difference in price for a King room and a Queen (2 beds) was over $20 . .. which is a bit sad, if you don't want to share a bed. Otherwise, very nice stay.

I loved the location, the pool, and tiki bar behind it with a beautiful view of the river. The staff was beyond accommodating. They even assisted us with a flat tire. Good people and good times. You can tell the place has been remodeled.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The only thing I could recommend is that an iron and ironing board is needed in the room, and maybe a mini coffee pot would be nice.

Loved the location, had a room with a river view that was beautiful! Tiki Bar staff was friendly. Rooms extremely clean!

Thin walls!! I could hear the neighbors snoring... No curtains, only Blinds and the room was under a street light so it stayed bright in the room the entire night.

Main reason was location and outside space. Was able to go swimming in the river behind the property. Drinks at the bar were good, and wings were great. Karaoke at night was entertaining. Walking distance from the shops at Lake Lure. Place is not the most up-to-date. But it was clean, the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. I am planning on going back to this place in the future.

Beautiful location, great atmosphere, and great people. The hotel is currently being updated.. so it’s a work in progress, but that Tiki Bar and restaurant makes up for it. great food, and atmosphere. We didn’t leave the hotel for 3 days.. we sat by the campfires, played in the river, and swam in the pool.

I don’t want to even give the impression that we didn’t like anything about the property, but since I love it, I have to say that I would like to see the pool cleaner and the chemicals balanced. It was very cloudy, so a good pool guy is all that is needed.

I have to say that the staff, particularly the tiki staff were phenomenal. Pool was clean. Rooms clean. The property sits on a river which was lovely. management seems to be working hard on renovations so I’m excited to see progress on our next trip.

Here’s where it gets dicey. I know EVERYWHERE is short staffed so I hate to complain but…we stayed in a road side room, next door to people I assume work here and it was very noisy with in and out door slamming and power tools every day of our stay. Sunday morning we woke to a lawnmower at 6:30 am and the yard work continued for hours. After having a band play at the tiki bar until late and waking up everyone so early with trimmers and mowers with no coffee was a real drag, and although the signs say the tiki bar serves breakfast 7:30am it did not open until 10am. everyone was milling around in search of coffee or breakfast. coffee makers in the rooms would be a welcome addition. if you plan a stay, I recommend the river facing rooms on the lower level if you like to sleep in.

Super helpful, friendly staff even during a stressful downed tree kind of night. Comfy, clean. Free coffee in am, breakfast available in tiki lounge on site for a good price from friendly staff.

Room was basic but met our 1 night needs. Overall very happy with stay.
