The location is fantastic. Right on the lake, the views are stunning, especially from the restaurant and bar. While it feels isolated, the hotel is within short walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shopping.

Lobby staff are strangely unfriendly. I walked through the lobby probably three dozen times with very few greetings or even acknowledgements. Weird. Restaurant menu is sorely lacking of healthy choices. I don't know if that is a Wisconsin thing or a hotel thing, but this California fellow was cranky for some vegetables when he got home from his trip.

The location is picturesque and the beaches are truly breathtaking to the point of absurdity. I was not expecting the view at all. Going at the end of May was also even better as the pelicans were migrating and I got some truly amazing pictures. I've seen pelicans, but never so many and never was able to get the pictures I did. The restaurant is a great value, has excellent coleslaw. The place is also absurdly family friendly. The hotel is like a time capsule with decor as well, and a fun bit for fans of the 70s-80s aesthetic.

The beds were a bit Spartan, but I am spoiled with a cooling memory foam at home.

Located on Lake Michigan, this is an older, charming hotel. There is lots of character in this establishment, including beautiful tile floors in the main area and an amazing stained glass window. Its an older hotel that could use some TLC, but you're getting a high character place. Comes with a very generous free breakfast in a restaurant overlooking Lake Michigan. Hamilton Wood type and Print Museum is a short walk across the street. A great independently-owned coffee place (The High Lift) is also within walking distance.

This historic inn is in such a terrific location right on Lake Michigan. The rooms were spacious, although not modern decor, they were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed walking along the sidewalk behind the resort along the water, and enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant with the lake view. It's walking distance to the town, where we happened to be there during a blues festival - that was a treat!

Since the hotel is on the water, the rooms were a bit humid, but that probably comes with the location.

Our Lakeview room didn't face the lake. Instead, in almost any position in the room, you are looking at the brick of the other hotel rooms. Only from one angle could you look at the lake. And even then you had to be right on top of the window. That was pretty disappointing. This was room 239. In addition, at the time of booking, I could not get a room for three people with Lakeview. So instead, I had to book two rooms for three nights.

The view across the lake was wonderful. Motel was quiet, visitors were respectful, staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access for a walk along the beach was a great bonus. Walkway along the lake side of the motel is a splendid feature. Easy walking access to downtown and out to the breakwater was a real plus. Sound of the waves at night was like music to our ears.

We prefer a firmer mattress. Still, the bed we had was OK. No motel can accommodate the wide range of preferences.

Halls were musty smell needed fresh air flow, it's old building needs more tlc, beds need to go in trash. Only one washer dryer set to do laundry, one light bulb missing totally in bathroom open socket danger,

I liked the family feel from the staff and location. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The location is beautiful, right on the shore of Lake Michigan. The restaurant overlooks the water and it was good food too. Bed was comfortable as well!

The room smelled a little musty and did not have a safe (that I found at least). Toiletries were minimal as well. But if that's the worst I have to say, then I think they did alright!

Many options available for breakfast. The wait staff was great. The ice cream cones were an unexpected bonus. Lake views while eating was my favorite in the dining room and the stained glass in the entry was so beautiful. The location was perfect for all our excursions in the area. The pool and hot tub were amazing!

I sleep on a hard bed at home so the bed was softer than I like. My sister and her granddaughter had no complaints though.

Best location in Two Rivers! The hotel is right on Lake Michigan, with a lovely path along the beach. Great breakfast provided with stay / lots of options. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice views of the Lake from the dining room.

Beds and furniture are very outdated and uncomfortable. We stay for the view, but wish the interior could be upgraded, as we would love to come back. May look for another place in Manitowoc for next year.
