Well situated for evening walks in the park (which oddly had flamingoes!), great for a one night stopover. Lots of options for food although the formal restaurant was way too expensive (it is a Michelin starred restaurant though so I guess it's to be expected). The road it's on isn't on Sat Nav as being drivable which was odd!

I got lost so many times but they provide a map and clear signs everywhere so don't see what more they could do! The outside bar and food didn't seem quite in keeping with the hotel itself and was quite scruffy in comparison but caters to the park as well. Getting out of the carpark was a bit of nightmare and had us holding our breath as we were very worried we would bash our car round the tight corners. Could the entrance be two ways?

The top floor welness aerea is top. The biergarten is very nice. The breakfast is good and the service is excellent. The location is excellent in a nice park close to the city centre and close to where the Rhine an the Main meet. The provide good rent bikes

It was too warm. The room the bed cover and on 1 day the indoor swimming pool was too warm.

Arriving at the hotel after 32hours of travel from Australia, the staff were wonderful in allowing a very early check in. This was the oasis we needed after such a long trip. Swim, sauna and spa were fabulous. Excellent facilities; lovely beer garden and restaurant with really nice food and friendly attentive wait staff. Thank you Favourite Park

Nil - it’s great

Great breakfast, great location. We choose this hotel because of the beauty of the park location. Love it… so serene and picturesque.

Pillows were very bad… far too thin. When I asked for a foam pillow, we only received another paper thin down filled pillow. This interfered with sleep leading to a sore neck and poor sleep.

A lovely location next to the Park with the Rhine a short walk away, reception staff were excellent. The air conditioned room was very nice with a good view, the welcome pack for our dog was a lovely touch with a bed, snacks and a toy. The large bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. Definitely a place I would stay in again and deserves more than the overnight stay we had but time was against us on this occasion

If you used the toilet in the night when you switch on the light in the cubicle the lamps in the open plan bathroom area also come on flooding the room with light, not good when someone else is asleep. The bathroom/shower is pretty open plan as it is all part of the bedroom, which makes it spacious but leaves very little privacy when using the washing facilities, fine for some but maybe not for everyone. USB charging points would also be a nice touch for a room of this quality. Maybe we missed something but we only had 4 channels on the TV, none of which were English but that was not a major issue

The new spa is small, but tranquil and generous in its relaxation offerings. Situation of hotel with river view and park around it plus short walk into town ideal . Breakfast was ample and offered good views on river traffic while eating

Our room was spacious and comfortable, but wifi reception was only available from the corner of room that was to replace wardrobe or the bathroom

Beautiful location by the park and quirky seating areas overlooking same. Really great rooftop spa area and sauna. Very good breakfast and we had an excellent meal in the Weinbar

Couldn’t find the sauna etc on the new spa level and would be great if it was open the same hours as the pool.

Excellent location in the park, great hotel with very nice and relaxing spa. Nice breakfast and setup in the restaurant. If you are looking for a luxurious getaway this is a very good address!

I would add a panel near the shower in the triple room for privacy

The hotel was overall good but its age in a few places. The Michelin Star restaurant was truly amazing and worth the high price. The staff in the restaurant and at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Limited lunch options at the venue.

Maintenance issues and lack of lunch opportunities

I requested for a clean room with no carpets and new bed sheets. My requests were fully accommodated by the hotel staff. My room had a balcony and park side view, which was great, lots of trees. Also, spacious rooms, large/double bed, penthouse gym wasn't bad either - more free weights would have been great, sauna was also good. They have work stations near the reception with group seating and monitors; therefore, business trip friendly. Breakfast was great, topped-off with a nice view of the park. Overall, I can recommend it for business trips and short vacations. I will visit this hotel again, when I am in Mainz.

The lifts were a bit slow, had to wait quite long, unusually long.
