Check-in was straight forward and we were pleasantly met. Directions to the room were straight forward and easy to follow. The room was a little smaller than expected but as this was a semi-business trip, it wasn't that important. The sea and park views were exceptional. Facilities in the room were OK but it lacked a fridge. Buffet breakfast was well laid out and ample for all of our needs. One evening supper was good but not exceptional, as some menu items were not available. Very friendly, young staff, were attentive and very willing to assist.

Some grout around the bath/shower needed cleaning as it had become mouldy, but that was all, as our room (610) was presented in a clean and tidy fashion.

Room, Bed, Shower, decent size bath sheets. We only ate Breakfast as we socialised with family during day and evenings. Breakfast was fine with typical hot fayre but my fav was the Mushrooms and on final day Black pudding appeared as well.

I got a couple of tiny splinters off one of the wooden coat hangers when first hanging clothes on arrival, noticed all were a little rough to tops around hanging pin. We wondered how this was happening and a couple of days later we saw housekeeping staff using them as wedges to keep doors open when cleaning rooms. Maybe the maintenance team could provide Housekeeping with some wedges and lightly sand off the affected coat hangers.

Modern and clean. Plenty of parking. Staff very friendly. Excellent location for shoreside walks and amenities.

Breakfast on days when a coach party was staying was bit of a hassle. There were times when it was obvious that they were struggling to keep up with demand and they also ran out some options a couple of times. Cannot fault the staff as they did a great job to provide service in the busy times. Also coach parties should not be allowed to park their vehicles across the bays taking up 5-6 spaces.

Location and sea views. Room had everything I needed. £5 towards a free drink incentive if you didn’t require room to be cleaned. Food was good. English breakfast was on the greasy side for me. Great chat with the manager from Northamptonshire 👍🏻 Recommended friends and family.

Unfortunately lack of staff who gave booking in priority to a coach full of people though we arrived at the same time many passengers still on the coach. I had to speak out otherwise I would have been there for hours. Expensive for a solo traveller - would like to see discounted rates or more incentives. Checked out Friday 12th July just before 6am - no one around and doors to Ayres lounge locked, left key on reception desk.

Location is excellent for what we had planned. Lovely sea view. Lovely comfortable room. Good dining room and breakfast room. Superb bar facilities and good prices. All the staff were excellent. Ben at breakfast time was phenomenal and very attentive. Thank you 😊 we will return.

The only issue we would raise is that at breakfast time, 2 residents had their dog in the breakfast room. We like dogs but not in a dining room.

Arrived early due to last minute travel arrangements and asked for an early check. Staff were more than accommodating and got me checked into my room. Room was spotless clean and good views of the sea and boating lake. Had everything that was needed and was cleaned everyday. Food was lovely both breakfast and evening meal. Would highly recommend and will stay again in the future.

Location is good for North. Great beach nearby ( walkable and flat ) and small lake with a decent park too for kiddies. Town close and only a short walk for a lot of decent shops, cafes and supermarkets. Staff great. Breakfast good. Nice bacon. Lots of options including fresh fruits. Has a posher vibe and feels a bit higher standards than a lot of the UK chain-stays. For the TT races would be very good I imagine for the bike enthusiast. Close to the harpin ( 5 min rode ) and sulby straight ( 10-15 min ride ) Free parking and a decent amount of parking also. Cosy beds. Decent rooms. Good bath tub for a soak or a shower over the bath with a shower curtain. Definitely a sound choice if you need to be based in the north of the island and away from Douglas

Power in room surging off and back on every so often, most probably because of the stormy weather. This meant the TV would randomly switch on in the late of night with volume. Hmmm..had to pull the power cord out. Room swap not really a solution either as it was all over..... but it was storm Isha.

Beautiful location. A lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable room and bed. We had to leave early for the ferry. Some other guests were leaving early too. We were offered a breakfast from 5am. We also had the option of a packed sandwiches which we accepted. We were also given muffins and fruit and a cold drink.

We asked for poached and fried eggs. Unfortunately they were rock hard.

Everything was excellent from booking in to booking out. All the staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the hospitality tray was very good, together with various information leaflets. The view from the window over Mooragh Park was really nice. There was a very good selection for the breakfast, which was served in the main function room.

The only thing that I would mention is that the breakfast items were not very hot, but the service was excellent.

Location is very good beautiful views stunning views should I say right next to Ramsey Beach when we arrived we were greeted with warm and friendly staff I would definitely go back because new owners because they has very bad views they have now got rid of the bad staff

When breakfast menu states all food is grilled and find out it is all deep friend lots of grease then this isn't good I complained as husbaband has a stomach condition and he cant eat deep fried food but then being told by the waitress on tues morning it wasnt deep fried was an insult
