I didn't see any breakfast but that doesn't mean they didn't have it. Other than that I like the location and the price was ok.

The tricky pricing, I've said this before also, nothing changed about that though. Here's the thing I booked it from an ad saying 36.00 for the night, twin bed with other beds too. ( that is fine and exactly what I asked for) so, 36 for the night ended up paying 52 and change. Which is very close to double the advertised price, now I suppose like most folks, once I'm already at the last screen to pay I just said "fine it's getting late and I just want to be done". So I paid it. However I could've gotten a private room at another hotel for 59.00 had I remembered that from the last time, I would've just gone with the private room for just 7 more dollars. Thanks

great location, great kitchen where you could fix and eat food -- very helpful staff

security issue - easy to get in with electronic 'code' and find a bed and pull curtain for privacy -- easy to sneak into the place, then leave after you have a few hours sleep and take a shower - the front 'office' which is also the kitchen, iis often empty - very easy to sneak in, and if you are desperate.... Many homeless people in area, also drug issue in neighborhood -- Duluth is like opera of 1900, era of Duluth zenith

Considering it was a dorm style setup, it was relatively quiet during waking hours and sleeping hours. The bed was soft, had minimal items in the curtained off lower bunk, but it was comfortable.

I did not realize I had to walk down 2 flights of stairs. I have a bad knee and was in pain doing so. The person who showed me did not even volunteer to help carry at least a couple of things for me down the stairs so I could hold on to the railing. He just said sorry and kept walking us down to a chilly basement. If you didn't have a phone to call someone, there was no one to talk to or to ask if you needed assistance. The person I had talked to didn't seem to want me there, and he seemed to be the only one. It was a cold reception when I arrived and it wasn't any better when I left. I like to give places a second chance and I will go back here again to do that. I hope it was just a fluke, and it will be better this next time.

This was my first experience of staying in a Hostel. As a 53 year old woman, I was worried this would be all young people and I would be out of place. But - this was a wonderful place to stay! The comman areas were pleasant would stay at this Hostel anytime I am in Duluth.and comfortable. The bed, which I shared with my daughter, was comfrotable and provided enough privacy.

My only concern was that there were only 2 bathrooms/showers for our floor, and I worried that I would not be able to get into the bathroom when I needed to; but it all worked out fine.

I loved the location, it was close to everything! I loved how close it was to Canal Park and that it was in the heart of downtown. The beds were super comfortable and I slept like a baby! The sauna and cold plunge made it exceptional!

The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, but overall it was a great hostel experience!

I didn't do breakfast. Just a coffee as I was off to run the Grandma's marathon.

I slept on the top bunk and was a little nervous with those steps. Perhaps that's how they are supposed to be but next time I'm going to request the bottom bunk.

Very clean. Wooden bed frames, so there is no noise when people go up and down. Staff was cool.

It's expensive. It is at least twice the price of a typical hostel, and one could almost stay in a hotel room for the same price. That said, it was a very nice hostel, so I think the price was at least somewhat warranted.

For me it was a nostalgia stay. I last stayed in a Hostel in 1987. It was too bad my former mates weren't there. I would like to stay again with a group of friends and be able to hang out and enjoy the area more.

I was very rushed and could not have the whole Hostel experience of meeting people and hearing their stories. Next time I would book more than one night.

The small sleeping areas were very comfortable
