This is a generally standard business hotel that is spiced up by a couple of novelties: one, you are most likely not going to encounter any humans from the hotel on your stay. At the reception, it is self check-in, guided by a couple of animatronic dinosaurs -- this could be disconcerting for adults, but highly amusing for kids. Two, your hotel room has a resident chatty pocket bot (if you've ever seen James May's Japan tour, you'll know what this is). It is cute. It is also annoying. The first thing I did was to switch it off. At any rate, the room is decent, with standard business-hotel fiberglass bathroom with tub, pajamas, and direct access to the next building's onsen facilities. There are a couple of vendo machines which may be useful considering that the hotel is a bit of a walk away.

The location is a bit of a walk away. Yes, it is one ride to the airport. But the hotel, located seaside, needs a bit of a walk to get to from the train station. An easy 20 minute walk if you're backpacking it (the overhead pedestrian lanes are wonderful), but a bothersome one if you have big luggage with you. It is also about a 20 minute walk away from everything in the area -- supermarket, outlet mall, food. Again, an easy walk if you're not carrying anything, but bothersome if you are shopping and you have no car with you. Fine for young people but if you're a senior traveling by train then this may not be for you.

Perhaps the craziest check-in experience I've had to date, though there were many steps required to complete the self check-in. Requested for a sea view room and it did not disappoint. Facilities were clean, and the hotel even provided free umbrellas due to it being the rainy season.

Location probably not the best compared to some of the other airport hotels that were closer to the station. It's still only a 10-15 min walk either way if familiar with the route. Water not provided, and the nearest convenience store is located at the train station. Bed was pretty hard as well; I've definitely slept on better.

The location is great, 12 minutes walking distance to Rinku Town station and premier outlet. Many restaurants around premier outlet. onsen is good.

I liked the dinosaurs. Silly fun. Human interaction was also available at the touch of a button and was promoted and courteous. The bath was nice and the bath area outside. It was like a quiet hotel joined to a thriving bath place and cafe.

I really don’t like the no tattoos rule in the bath. I don’t have tattoos but most of my friends do . It’d be hard to recommend it to my foreign guests in Japan because they wouldn’t be able to experience the bath, which is one of the main points. It’s time to move on from no tattoos, Japan! Rooms not sound proofed. Not a problem when we were there but easy to hear adjoining rooms. No shuttle bus to the airport. So near and yet so far! Booking.com has the taxi price erroneously listed as way too high (subtract one zero!) which might put people off staying.

A great location for KIX and we stayed the night before our early morning flight. The dinosaur front staff is bonkers (and a bit creepy to say the least and my daughter was freaked out by them) but it was amusing to say the least. The room was spacious, clean and nice loungewear given which you can wear to the bath and the restaurant. The Onsen bath is amazing and we enjoyed it once in the evening and also the first thing in the morning before we left as we wanted to see the amazing view from the outside bath. The relaxation area was also nice (and was practically empty!) and the restaurant offered pretty decent Japanese food and the breakfast was also good. Apart from a few vending machines, there is no shop to get any snacks in the hotel but a huge drug store (cash only!) is a short walking distance and inside the Rinku Town station, there are a few shops (including a Lawson convenience store).

Nothing really that we didn't like. We will definitely stay there again when we travel from KIX!!

Close to the airport. Great ocean view from room. Spacious, clean and modern rooms, great for packing luggage before heading home. Open air bath with sea views. After the initial shock, the robot dinosaurs at the reception were quite funny to look at.

One of the staff (male) was quite rude. I wasn’t sure if it was because I arrived earlier than checkin time and had the hotel keep my luggage first, even though I had asked the hotel beforehand and they informed me that it was okay.

My room had everything I needed to get some rest before my flight in the morning. The automated Raptors at the front desk were definitely interesting. I also enjoyed the Sauna/ bath house in the hotel.

The property includes a Hot Springs pool (onsen) and if we had had time to try it, I would’ve given the hotel five stars. As it was, we got in after dark, and left at dawn to catch an early flight. The room was very clean. It was a little crazy, trying to find the restaurant, which is in the next building, but we got bento‘s for dinner, and they were delicious The beds are comfortable shower was hot, and the check in with the dinosaur robots was a hoot!

Well, you did not like the Robison, a small robot on the shelf that shattered on, and on in Japanese. It is supposed to serve as a concierge, or something like Alexa on Amazon devices. We disabled it as soon as we could figure out how.

I booked this hotel purely on location and price knowing little of what to expect.There were a few surprises.... 1) Robot dinosaur reception-bizarre but worked efficiently 2) Cinema type projector in room.Kids loved the movie like experience. 3) The food "supervised by one star Michelin restaurant" was fantastic in the evening.Well priced and warm service as well 4) The onsen experience.Attached to the hotel is an excellent spa with natural spring water hot baths and mineral steam room.All free to guests although be aware that clothing is not allowed-only a towel!!! The room (which was all I was expecting) was clean comfortable and quiet. A great end to our holiday.

A shuttle bus to airport would have been incredible but is now permanently suspended.The metro was only a 10 minute walk away and then a 6 minute hop to airport.For those with luggage a taxi is 4000 yen.

Spacious - larger than the standard room in Japan cities. Clean. Beautiful view of the bay. Relaxing. Good breakfast included. Very helpful staff even though reception desk is manned by a robot.

Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the nearest station Rinku Town Station. It’s in an isolated location so there’s no convenient stores nearby. Hotel has discontinued the shuttle bus. The staff can book a taxi for you. Cost ¥4540 from hotel to airport (Dec2023)
