Fairlight is in a beautiful location close to the beach. The owners and staff are the most friendliest helpfull people. If you need private and comfortable this is what you will get. Will definitely use Fairlight again

The views are spectacular, rooms are stunning and clean, and there is a variety of hot and cold offerings for breakfast. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Easy access to the beach. Loads of great restaurants in the area. If you are looking for a place to get away, relax and recharge.. this is it.. you won't go wrong..

Fairlight is our seaside destination of choice, Collin and his staff are very hands-on and professional. They look after all the requirements of the guests. The rooms are super luxurious, it is right on the beach, walking distance to the shops, restaurants, The breakfast is made to order and very scrumptious. We loved the new corner pop-up "coffee-shop".

Nothing - best place to stay in Umdloti

Spacious room with ocean view. Nice location. Close to Durban airport, just 13mins away. Friendly staff. Restaurants 5mins walk away. Good breakfast, they make hot meals for you.

Nothing negative to say really. Only small point is there is no generator giving power to the rooms when the power falls out. Every day, multiple times per day, the power falls out. THIS IS NATIONWIDE, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HOTEL. So please bring enough powerbanks for your charging your phones. This is an excellent hotel. We really recommend it.

Just as advertised! The pictures didn’t lie and the beach house was exceptional. Gorgeous views. Stunning facilities. Clean. Beautiful. Tasty breakfast. Truly one of the best air bnbs I’ve stayed in. Thank you so much to the friendly staff. What a special visit!!!

The breakfast and the staff were amazing, the location to the beach was incredible, you had panoramic sea views and the beach was 1 min walk away.

I would have liked for statement somewhere on the page to show its distance to Balito as we found that it was still 19kms away. Even though i searched Balito Accommodation. There were also a few cockroaches in the room, found one in the bed. Just to work on fumigating the place.

Although we missed out on staying in the beach house we stayed at an apartment across the road and breakfasted at the beach house. The staff were excellent.

We didn’t see bedrooms as there was a problem with our booking, not the owners’ fault. But the communal areas were lovely.

Breakfast was excellent, the variety is nice. You get from gold meat, muffins, cheeses etc to a warm breakfast as well with eggs, bacon etc. The location is fantastic!!

Everything was stunning, because it is so hot you might want to consider a little fridge in each room to keep drinks cold on the hot days.

The location was fabulous. Staff were well informed and helpful. Breakfast was great.

The fridge in the room was not working. We needed to ask for the main sea-facing window to be cleaned, to enjoy the view...it was done. There were very few amenities in the room. No soap, body cream or shower cap, etc Only shower gel & shampoo in the shower. Nothing near the basins or bath.

I have stayed here about 5 years ago and you still get the same subtle and genuine experience. This is a pleasant and beautiful place and it is good value for money on top of that Thank you so much for the time
