The pool area is lovely. The water is clean and the garden is well cared for. The cleaning staff were unfailingly friendly. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding each time. The room is air-conditioned which was a life-saver in the heat and humidity

The kitchen does not have a hot water faucet. There are no comfortable chairs or couches in the room, so you either have to sit on the bed or in the communal Lapa area

No frills, no BS, just good clean accommodation. The aircon and fans were a great help in Durban's heat And of course the price! I just needed a place to lay my head for the night. So for uMhlanga I feel I got a good deal

I didn't like the reviews where people expect gold!!!! when they are paying Pennies Pay more or shut up.

The place was very clean and tidy..the staff made sure that we stay on the clean place all the time..The place was also quiet and we did not have any problems regarding the noisy tenants.Very safe and secure We are definitely coming back to Jessica's self catering on our next vacation 😊😊😊

The entire place was beautiful from the pool, the rooms, the dining area next to the pool & the private bathroom. WiFi was functional even during Loadshedding, the fans too, so the room was always cool. It was very therapeutic & tranquil - a nice quiet place to recharge & unwind. We really enjoyed our stay, from the first day all the way to the last day.

AC did not work during Loadshedding (but the fans did work).

The place was quiet , which I preferred. Had options when it came to places to see ,even though we didn't stay for too long . I would like to visit again next time. Room had everything , for someone who can do things for themselves it's a good place for self catering and people who love peace. Netflix on house I almost stayed indoors for my entire outing as a movie person 😅

Main door not locking properly we only managed to lock when we are inside . Presentation of bedding was not the same as shown in the picture ,I would prefer all white as expected since the appearance in the photos attracts us before we choose the room. I wish we had a mop or broom in the room if we made a mess.

The pool and the lighting were so beautiful. The Wi-Fi and the cleanliness of the room were so outstanding

The room was clean. The pool was fantastic. You felt free and comfortable to move around as the environment is safe and transportation is convenient. Love the place and will surely go and visit soon 😊

Surrounding areas recommend as main attraction were no longer available. Beach not open to public we had to move to central to excess beach. Nature reserve no longer available. Bird park doesn't pic up for reservations so I'm not sure if it's open to public.

The place was quiet and pleasant. The swimming pool complements the environment., however we did not make use of it as we were out most of the days. The staff were always available when needed. Cathy does a superb job. Our room was always clean. Thumbs up to her.

The bed matress was hard and uncomfortable. The parking was tight when the accommodation was full.

There was alot of space and the room was very clean. They have made provision for alot of channels and YouTube on the TV.. and the place has Wi-Fi and Netflix.. and that was just a Plus👌👌 I would definitely stay there again.

I couldn't lock my bedroom door, yes I was assured that it's safe, but I would have loved to at least close the door.. The doorknob fell out when I tried to pull the door.. There's a few screws missing causing the doorknob to come off when you pull it to close the door and that needs some fixing.

We liked everything about the accommodation. The host is so friendly and ensures that the guests are comfortable. The helper made sure our room was always clean and fresh towels daily.
