Hotel Vellita is an absolute standout in Siem Reap. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty and thoughtfulness that has gone into every detail of this hotel. It’s clear that Vellita was built from the heart—with care, purpose, and a deep respect for Khmer culture. Many of the design elements are handmade by local artists, which gives the space a unique, authentic character and stands as a true testament to the resilience and creativity of the Khmer people. We had previously stayed at a well-known 5-star hotel upon first arriving in Siem Reap, but Hotel Vellita surpassed it in every way. The service here is truly 10/10. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. They offered us excellent recommendations on local food spots and must-see sites, making our stay even more special. The amenities are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized. Whether you’re relaxing in your room or spending time in the common areas, everything feels serene and intentional. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines luxury with heart, and service that goes above and beyond, look no further. Hotel Vellita is a true gem, and we can’t wait to return.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and modern, featuring refined, elevated finishes. I especially enjoyed the large soaking tub in the bathroom! The hotel felt secluded, offered excellent privacy, and truly resembled a resort. The pool area was beautiful and the overall ambiance was so serene. The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service. The staff was incredibly attentive and proactive; for instance, as you approach the restaurant, someone will often rush to open the door for you. A chair is pulled out for you to sit in. Whenever I wanted to order a drink by the pool, there was always someone nearby asking if I wanted to order anything. Not only were they attentive, but the staff was also warm and friendly. The service level clearly reflects the hotel’s commitment to providing a great experience. The English proficiency of the staff was very high. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food—it was absolutely phenomenal! Cambodia is known for its amazing cuisine, and while I partially regret not eating more local food, the hotel restaurant was so exceptional and convenient that I found myself wanting to dine there for every meal. The restaurant staff was also a highlight, being especially friendly and fun to talk to. I also visited the spa and had an excellent massage. The spa vibe was very calm and relaxing. I would absolutely return to this wonderful hotel!

There's hardly anything to critique about this hotel. My stay felt perfect, but if I had to find some opportunities here are some small observations: The large lounging beds in the pool area were made of pleather, which I understand are more practical to maintain, but are uncomfortable to actually lie on and detracted slightly from the upscale ambiance. Additionally, I didn't have my tours and experiences fully booked upon arrival. While the hotel offered standard Angkor Wat tour options and could help arrange tuk-tuk drivers, it would have been nice to have more guidance on other available activities besides Angkor Wat.

This hotel is exceptional. From the friendly helpful staff to the luxury bed and room it's 1st class all the way. The free-flowing breakfast is delicious and freshly cooked as you order. The pool is a tropical retreat and beautiful. The staff are professional, well trained, and just lovely people. The room itself is 5star anywhere and the bed was so comfortable that I slept great. Don't worry about not being on pub street they have free taxi between 4 and 5 pm. Being away from Pub Street is perfect as the hotel is so peaceful, but in a few minutes, you're in the party street, best of both worlds. I actually extended my stay in Siam Reap as I was enjoying the hotel so much. If you are coming here pay the few dollars extra as its worth it. I had a totally problem free stay. 10/10

There is nothing not to like

The hotel was beautiful inside. Small, cozy but not suffocating. The breakfast was really awesome and the service was wonderful. The staff ensure all guests are comfortable. Ms. Navoan was a daily delight and ensured my husband and I had everything we needed. All bars and restaurants are a short tuktuk ride away. There are several coffee/food places within walking distance too.

Nothing to complain about, however the toilet in the rooms could do with a little glam and a handheld bidet.

It's in a quiet area but just a short tuk-tuk ride from pub street, the river and the night market. The hotel is modern, clean and has a fantastic restaurant. Be sure to have at least one evening meal there, you won't be disappointed. The pool is refreshing and has a nice little pool bar. The gym is very good too. Overall this was one of the best hotels we've stayed in in Asia.

The hotel is an oasis of respectability in the single-storey working-class suburb of Sien Reap. At the same time, the hotel staff exhibits the best features of Cambodians: cordiality, friendliness and the desire to provide excellent service to their guests. The hotel offers well-kept grounds, clean swimming pool, large and comfortable rooms, nourishing breakfast, excellent Wi-Fi and well-trained staff. And if you still have any questions about any of the things that might come to your mind (tickets, guides, shopping, spas, restaurants, transport, etc.), then contact the intelligent intellectual Mr. Yan Piseth and your questions will be swiftly resolved!

The room sarebbe large, extremely clean. And the Space is well structures’ the breakfast is outstanding, the restaurant is great,much better than any other restaurant in the city. The staff is perfect. I think this is a 5stars hotel and I will suggest it to‘ all my Friends.

Everything was Perfect

Everything was absolutely perfect. From the welcoming of the reception staff all the way to the breakfast, food and drinks, attention to details and passion and care everyone showed during our stay, we couldn’t really ask for anything better. We changed hotel during our stay in Siem Reap due to some problems with the other property and everyone at Hotel Vellita has been absolutely spot on and made our stay unforgettable! Top service and top hotel! Highly recommended!

Excellent young staff. New hotel, comfortable, safe, good food, clean and with some good design details. Very good value! After offering a tip in local currency upon our arrival to the doorman who took our luggage to the room, the young and honest Cambodian warned me of the equivalent amount in USD ($15), as he considered it to be a mistake. Commendable! There aren't many like that anymore, especially for unsuspecting tourists.

Located little beet away from the city center to walk, but they offer a free tuk-tuk (one way) every day do visit the city. The return cost less than 1$

The hotel is nice and new, wonderful pool, comfortable rooms equipped with all the comforts. We really liked the food, both from the breakfast and the a la carte menu! But what makes this hotel really exceptional is the staff, everybody is committed to meet your needs and satisfy them. They are just amazing. They provided us with tours, drivers and guides for our stay in Siem Reap. Would totally recommend and come back too.
