The hotel is a great example of beautiful Art Nouveau interior design. The dining room is gorgeous. Location was good, and it was easy to follow the "BLUE LINE" painted on the streets to walk around to see the city sites. The staff was super friendly & helpful. Room was compact & had no luggage storage, but overall comfortable. We were able to unload our car in front of the hotel, and the reserved parking garage was a few doors down.

The bathroom had a strangely-placed toilet tissue dispenser which had sharp edges & hurt us both, so we had to wrap the entire thing in tissue to avoid cutting ourselves! The tub (as many in Europe) was very high and deep and difficult to get into/ out of.

An extremely stylish hotel. Elegant room, refined decoration, quality bedding, extremely clean with a lovely view. Professional, helpful and approachable staff at all times. The decor in the public areas; dining room and bar, was quite special, imaginative, chic and classy. The breakfast provided was exceptional, fresh, with a lot of choice. Parking was next door and easily accessible, a bonus in the heart of a city. This hotel far exceeded expectations and I would recommend with enthusiasm.

Comfortable beds. Underground car park can be booked, but no pedestrian way to the hotel. Quiet despite the road and size of hotel. Fantastic castle and huge ancient tapestry in the town. Plenty of places to eat and drink in this lively town.

Restaurant seem to have a very odd "mystery" menu, where you would not know what you were going to be presented with, so we didn't go there. Big road outside. Tricky to find the door to the underground hotel car park down a side road and you had to leave on foot the same way you had driven in in your car.

Lovely quirky hotel, nice spacious room, the location was excellent next to tram stop. Close to town and a short walk from the castle. The barman was friendly and helpful.

The one time housekeeping came in, no dirty glasses were removed or any water/coffee replenished. Quirky lift or sloping spiral stairs. No curtains, just outside metal shutter.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room and hotel beautifully appointed, well situated in the heart of Angers close to lots of pubs and restaurants. Lots of reasonably priced parking if hotel lot is full.

They ran out of scrambled eggs at breakfast, although we were last to arrive downstairs. I did did not complain as there was plenty of other things to eat. I'd imagine had I asked, chef would have rustled me up some. A symptom of how great the service had been

Beautiful déco dining room! Excellent breakfast. Nice reception..

Different levels were confusing and dangerous. Elevator somewhat scary - maybe being remodeled? Private parking location was confusing at first but very helpful. Interior design was very eclectic differing in each space. Take the cue from the original deco dining room and go with it!

Polite and friendly staff. Room was large, bed super comfortable and everything clean. Although the hotel kindly advised us in advance that the room didn't have aircon, there was a double window, so even though it was 30° outside, the room stayed cool. Beautifully decorated interior in a historical building.

No dislikes at all

The staff! Extremely friendly. The restaurant where we had breakfast, a very beautiful room decorated by Odorico! The bed, very comfy. The overall decoration. The location, very convenient, close to the train station and city center. We did everything by foot but there is also tramway and bus station right next to the hotel. The park "Mail" next to the hotel as well. All in all very happy about our stay. We were even offered breakfast due to a technical incident with the kitchen during our stay (breakfast was still good despite the issue!).

It would have been nice to have paper and pen on the desk in the room. And the desk chairs were a bit too soft (not very firm) but it's a very minor inconvenience.

Highly recommended! Hotel location is great, short walk to centre square, restaurants and shops. You are well taken care of with Jumael during breakfast service, a delightful and professional gentleman. Delphaine greets you at reception warmly with a wealth of experience and knowledge of Angers, a true professional a credit to the Hotel and hospitality industry.

Room, one of the best in the hotel was very good, view of city fine, A/C useful. Good exercise climbing and descending the stairs to Floor 3, although there is a lift. Secure garage essential. Reception staff always helpful.

Breakfast was very comprehensive and enjoyable but a bit haphazard with frequent refreshment of food needed and crockery needing to be asked for.
