We had the butler service (Paul) and he was amazing. The restaurants were good. The breakfast and lunch buffet were awesome. No dinner buffet. The cabana service that was extra is a bit pricey but worth it for at least a couple of days.

No dinner buffet. Elevators were not always working - only one worked the whole time in our building. They don’t advertise kids menus - sometimes like pulling teeth.

Location and staff and food were great. Shower in room leaked all week and was never fixed (after telling the front desk about the issue 4 times). Also, was forced to pay $1,500 at check in because booking.com messed up our reservation and only charged for 2 adults instead of 2 adults and 2 kids (even though we booked a package with flights and room together).

Room was a little run down.

Breakfast Buffet and Le Bouchon steakhouse were fantastic! Staff very friendly and helpful.

No ATM on site, because Hotel is only accessible by highway, one is dependent on taxi services which tend to manipulate their rates, despite being posted on a sandwich board outside the main lobby, we were charged more than the posted rates.

We very much enjoyed out time at the Jewel Grande. We stayed in the Sentry building, the newest of the 3 towers. The rooms were nice, well kept and clean. The food on property was good, the best bite is the Jerk Chicken grilled daily on the beach. The grounds were well kept and neat.

The beach itself was a bit small as was the swimming area, you might consider wearing water shoes as Sea Urchin are present in the seaweed. The water itself was clear and inviting. If you book excursions thru the resort be aware that when they say it is 30-35 minutes away it means more like an 1.5-2 hour ride. Making most if not all excursions a full day, rather than a true half day.

Where do I start! From the point of arrival, I felt welcomed and energized by the warm and friendly reception of the employees; from the gentleman handling our luggages to the check in agent. The food was chefs kiss; the breakfast, the dinner, just all of it. The amenities and cleanliness of the facility! Lastly and just to reiterate, the amazingly staff truly made the trip memorable!

A little more effort can be put into the entertainment room at the main building on the 2nd floor. The Dj played well but the room itself and it’s aesthetic left much to be desired.

The most property was beautiful

I did not like the staff at front desk and excursion they nickeled and dime every thing hidden fees that were not disclosed and staff was not on top of there jobs with disclosures.. the staff outside of front desk was amazing

The resort is beautiful and the employees are all extremely friendly and polite. The beach is fabulous and we enjoyed having two pools to choose from.

There are a lot of stairs, which made it a little difficult for us with a stroller and young children.

THERE WAS A HUGE VARIETY OF FOOD CHOICES!

We loved the variety of food options especially for dinner. The absolute best part of our stay was the staff and an extra special thank you to Lennox and Hermique who really went above and beyond to accommodate every need and want we had to make our trip truly memorable and special. They were absolutely wonderful and we can’t thank them enough for all the work they put into making our stay so amazing.

I wish the check in process went smoother and our rooms were available so we could make use of day 1 as we arrived hoping to get started with our vacation. The rest of the days made up for it though! I will say the cabana rental wasn’t worth the extra unless you’ll be spending the day at the beach.
