The room was simple but enough, the view and cleanliness more than made up for anything you may feel the room lacked. However, we loved the simplicity - relaxing and quaint, just what we were looking for. The location was perfect, close to the station but also all the amenities and restaurants of town. Vico was full of locals and not over crowded with tourists, but it was so easy to reach the more touristy spots; sorrento, Amalfi, positano, and pompeii. We would stay again and highly recommend it for families or couples alike. The staff were brilliant, the pool was big with plenty of chairs and the views were just stunning.

There honestly wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

Location fantastic - few minutes walk from the train station. Few minutes walk to local bars and restaurants. Reception staff very helpful and provided information on train services etc. At this time of the year older clients so no crowds around the pool.

Breakfast was fair - sometimes items were not replenished quickly. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the comfort rooms. Our room was a huge family room but for me it was disappointing as had recently been refurbished with very modern fixtures and fittings unlike our friends neighbouring room which was still furbished in quirky style shown in Booking.com photos - depends on on your taste. Limited toiletries provided. There is a 15 euro charge per day for car parking and no nearby off street parking.

Aequa Hotel exceeded our expectations as our rooms were much nicer than in the photos. The shady gardens were lovely to relax in during siesta time and while we didn't use the pool it was a great area, especially for those with children. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection of food and the view from the restaurant was spectacular. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was an easy walk to the town square and the bus and train station. It was only a short train ride to Pompeii and Sorrento.

We chose to stay at Vico Equense because it would be quieter than Sorrento however the location was probably a bit too quiet for us especially with older teenagers. We didn't manage to eat at the hotel restaurant due to functions that were being held during our stay which was disappointing. We were not told in advance what nights the restaurant would be closed. The functions could be a bit noisy but finished early enough not to disturb our sleep. We stayed for 4 nights and there were 2 functions during our stay.

The room was nice and clean and was cleaned daily with fresh towels, our room also came with a large balcony. The pool area is great , plenty of space and access to the bar and pool towels if needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay . We also ate at the hotel restaurant which has a very nice view of the coast. The hotel is also in a great central location near the train station for travelling to Sorrento / Naples etc, so you have access into Sorrento for dinner etc .

The hotel room was immaculate, it was cleaned daily with fresh towels. We had a big balcony which had a little table and chairs so you could sit out and the view of the mountain was spectacular. Down by the bar and restaurant area the view of the bay of Naples is out of this world, i would never get bored looking at that view. Plenty of sunbeds round the pool and the use of their pool towels is great. The whole hotel has air con too! The staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly, they are very well spoken in multiple languages which made things easier. I would definitely go back and stay at this hotel again :) x

The car park is abit tight and is on a first come first served basis. Personally the breakfast could be better. It was nice enough but it was a basic continental and served the same thing every morning, i would have preferred more meat and fruit choices like cut up melon, or a meat platter etc. This is just personal preference though.

Hotel Aequa went above and beyond to welcome our family! The hospitality is exceptional, the staff was kind and welcoming! A special thankyou to Agostino and Giacomo who were outstanding in their hospitality! Agostino e Giacomo grazie per la pazienza con il mio Italiano!!! The view from the hotel is breathtaking!! We will absolutely be back. Vico Equense is a charming and lovely town, everything we could have wanted was within walking distance. I highly recommend the hotel!! 5 stars!!

Great location, very close to the train station, short walk. The hotel was very well kept and clean. Nice pool, very clean, and a good size. We did arrive on a busy pool day and had to wait to get sunbeds. The restaurant was good, we ate one night as there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area. The views from the hotel are fantastic so do try and get a sea view when booking.

A fantastic hotel in the beautiful location of Vico Equense. Just a few minutes walk from the train station (only a few stops from Sorrento) It is a very nice looking hotel and the staff made me smile from the moment I checked in. They were happy, friendly and helpful the whole stay. The rooms are large and very comfortable (I hear they have new mattresses which were lovely) with a large balcony which was a private suntrap. Breakfast options were plenty and you have the choice to taje your tray outside to sit in the restaurant area under the wisteria looking out on the views of the sea and the Volcano. The pool was my happy place. A great size and surrounded by a beautiful garden and with a member of staff on hand to bring you drinks and ensure everyone has a sun lounger. Paradise! I will definitely come again, next time on a romantic get away. Well done Aequa hotel!

The pool was excellent , all of the staff and in particular Roberto were so helpful and generous. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. The location in the centre of the town was perfect as were the views.

There could have been more variety at breakfast even though what was served was excellent. The rooms were quite basic but comfortable and immaculately clean.

The property still on top of a mountain close to cliff views of the sea. The property is easily accessible by train then a short walk to hotel. The esthetic of the hotel was beautiful! Lots of sun light and Awesome balcony views! I love the breakfast option offered as apart of my reservation. Also, lots of nearby restaurants, local shops, and beach. A pool is located on the property too. The hotel provided options for reasonably priced excursions through local travel companies. I purchased an excursion to Capri and one to the Amalfi coastline visiting Positano and Amalfi for a few hours!
