Great location, big comfortable bed…a really nice room. The facilities and art through out are exceptional. A beautiful high end hotel

The staff (unfortunately) were a let down for us. They are certainly professional however lack the friendliness and warmth to really help us feel welcomed. At times curt, spoken over twice by interrupting staff members, mid sentence. Maybe a little petty here, but for the price you pay, you expect the best . Noisy street and bar down stairs. The odour in the room was choking making the choice between smell or noise difficult. Please accept my constructive criticism 🙏🏻

The property is beautifully decorated, lovely and unique art pieces and all the bedrooms are different. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both lovely.

We took a junior suite for a two night stay and we’re disappointed with the size of the room (no separate seating area as described), the pre-ordered bottle of bubbly was not in the room upon arrival and, whilst some of the staff were exceptional, others were mediocre at best.

The superb design of this classic structure (former vacation mansion of a wealthy Peruvian family) is complemented by a superb art collection displayed throughout the building and one of the best local cuisine and choice of cocktails we have met in Lima. Very nice and helpful personnel.

The room had a strong smell of mould - the bathroom has three distinct areas: wc, shower and sink cabinetry (divided by glass doors) and the ceiling vent is only in the wc area.

Traveled here after a stressful trip with my 4 year old. He was so tired and grumpy we were able to stay in and order room service a few days and the food is wonderful. This place is about the service and it really is lovely. I was lucky enough to be able to stay here a few days and not even leave the hotel until my son was feeling better. It was easy to walk to restaurants and parks and the beach.

The hotel is like an art museum, very modern and artistic and lovely. The breakfast is very fresh and delicious. The best part is the staff, so friendly, polite, and always willing to help. My arriving flight was delayed 2 more hours than original time 11Pm, I was very worried, since I am a solo traveler and it it the first time to Peru. But the hotel front desk staff Christian communicated with me through WhatsApp, helped me arranged taxi pick up and told me everything will be fine. The taxi drive picked me up at the airport and when I got to hotel already 2:30Am. But when I got into my room saw the personalized hand written welcome card that melted my heart. The is the hotel has a soul, it has a warm consideration and put every details to the extreme perfect. The next morning the staff Alford (I hope I got his name right) showed me around the hotel, told me about the history of the hotel, the art work.....so nice. I am so glad I choose this hotel to begin my Peru trip. I will remember this beautiful hotel and my pleasant stay. Definitely will recommended it to all my friends.

Absolutely perfect hotel. 5 star quality without being pretentious. Former mansion turned into boutique hotel. Staff is great and very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Afternoon tea time was a hit with my wife. Rooms are big and well appointed. We spent 10 days in Peru and my wife's favorite thing she purchased on the trip was the stuffed toy Llama they leave in every room. We stayed at Hotel B at the beginning of our trip and every picture I took of her with her backpack on had the to llama in it

The breakfast and evening tea were fantastic. The hotel feels like a modern art museum, with many art pieces throughout a beautifully decorated house. An amazing experience

Since it's an old house and I'm allergic, I did notice a bit of mustiness in the room. It's something expected given the style of the house and its location by the coast

This boutique hotel was the perfect end to my trip to Peru. I loved how it was an art gallery and hotel in one with amazing amenities as well. I really enjoyed tea time being included with the stay as it was a nice pick me up after a long day of walking. Overall great location and great stay!

As I stayed in the original mansion, when people were walking on the rooftop I could hear it creaking along with the music during the day. Not a huge deal for me, but could be to others!

got an excellent deal on the room so felt it was worth the price. Would not pay the $300+ I was seeing for the room, as I don’t think it was up to date enough to demand that rate (lots of wear and tear). More of a 3 star hotel but still super unique, room was comfortable, excellent location and I’d stay again (in a discounted room). Excellent breakfast spread and staff is wonderful!

Lots of wear and tear, extremely noisy at night

A beautiful, unique property with tons of character. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Tea time and complimentary drinks were lovely extras. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom/tub sublime ☺️. Thoughtful little touches everywhere and the art is a bonus. The hotel and its staff go above and beyond to make your stay extra special. Great restaurant recommendations too! Within walking distance of the main Barranco attractions. A few reviews call out rooftop noise. Our room was on the second floor, so we had NO noise and slept like babies.
