It's modern, clean, and super spacious. The lighting feels super moody, and I used the reading lamps to help light the room. Better lighting with a closer mirror for make-up purposes would have benefited the room. There was free water in the lobby, but greater access to free tea and coffee would have been welcome and more comparable to everywhere else we stopped on this trip. Staff were polite, friendly and welcoming from front desk, to house keeping.

Despite our desire to reuse existing towels for environmental impact, they were always replaced every day even though we hooked them up. Generally, I think more detailed information about breakfast menus and allergens available in advance would be helpful. As this wasn't readily available online i just avoided exploring the breakfast option. Otherwise the rooms, ambiance and staff were awesome.

The hotel is in a great location, especially for those who are in Gainesville to do something related to UF. It is directly in front of the campus and has a variety of restaurants nearby. My room and bathroom were big, clean, and modern. The bed was comfortable making it easy for me to have a good night’s rest. The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful as well.

There is valet parking so if one will be coming and going a lot, it can be a hassle. However, the valet service was quite good and my car was available to me quickly upon my request.

a bit austere for my liking. Had stayed at AC in Sarasota recently and felt that it was much more interesting and had a very upbeat vibe. Parking/valet was a problem. We did valet and it took a very long time to get our car even though there were 2 valets who were really hustling. Also, the buffet wasn’t impressive, although the egg dish was delicious.

Couldn't ask for a better location right across the street from UF. The lobby is beautiful and has a bar open for after dinner drinks. The front desk staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful.

Gym had a strong humidity smell, breakfast products are good, but was quite poorly managed, and the space downstairs is small and not inviting. There isnt somewhere to sit down and work with a bit of silence.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I will be going to Gainesville to visit my daughter for the next four years and this will always be my first choice.

Great location, clean.

None of the ice machines worked on any of the floors. My husband tried 5 different floors. He had to get ice at the front desk. The smart fridge in the room didn’t work at all.

Too many young college kids acting immature and just one elevator functioning made for long waits and uncomfortable to travel with my granddaughters

Rooms smaller than expected for an AC Lobby was nice but breakfast area much too small and too crowded for my family of 5 to be seated, so, we dined elsewhere.

Location of hotel was perfect for our visit and campus tour at University of FL.
