Good Location = access to Shands hospital. Rooms nicely restored for bargain hotel. Clean bath + clean room of good size. Microwave, frig and TV all worked well. Internet was good. Felt safe and was quiet. Management onsite and they stay on top of things.

Lobby has minimal service. Sometimes nobody at desk. No Coffee or mini breakfast in Lobby. There is a small coffee machine in rooms with brew. Parking a little tight, but sufficient. No Elevator, need outside stairs to room for second floor. Elderly take note.

Great Value. As a single woman, I felt very safe. Check-in was polite and professional. The room is dated. However, the location is very close to the hospital. Many inexpensive restaurants in the area. I believe Pancake House is across the street.

Room was dated however at this price, that is to be expected. I just needed a safe, affordable space with a great location and this was it.

The parking lot was well lit, giving a sense of security. The room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet. My reason for choosing this hotel was that it was near UF Shands where my husband was having surgery (we live an hour away). We also needed a reasonable rate and this place offered that. Although I didn’t need it, there is an IHOP across the street.

Location was 10 minutes to airport ! Room.was clean and bed very comfortable... Nice having 2restaurants within walking distance !

I didn't like being charged an extra $50 for being in a non smoking room since we are repeat customers. But it was taken off quickly so not a big problem. I also didn't like the surcharges for using a credit card because you have to use a credit card...its not a choice !

Owners were very friendly and accommodating. Location is convenient to University of Florida and reasonably priced. We have stayed to visit our son. Hitel is clean and offers a comfortable night’s rest.

Great budget inn. Exceptional value. Newly remodeled, new paint. I typically stay at Drury, but they were over $250 per night. So I took a chance with Gator Town. It is family owned and the friendly family really show pride in the place. They were very accommodating and cleaned the room every day. We were there for 5 days. Zero bugs. Coin laundry next door with Cafe and coffee. It cost me half the price of the Drury.

Only issue was the strong smell from cleaning products, which my wife was happy about. I guess this is a good thing!

Close to every where. We needed to go. I like it better cause has walk in shower and the room was clean and didn’t smell as smoke as it was a smoking room. Would stay again . Didn’t take photos of room cause wouldn’t need to cause it was what I expected, clean and comfortable. Thanks for a good experience.

Been coming here for years, it's always comfy and conveniently located.

I've noticed over the years that the upkeep of the rooms had gone down hill. There was hair in the sink and shower, the mirrors are always cloudy. The comforters has burns on them. The housekeeper is nice and sweet but could step it up a bit.

It was very quiet and homie. I also enjoyed the interior and exterior.

The room was clean however I noticed some spots that needed to be wiped down and the floor needed another mopping. I noticed a silverfish in the bathroom, and the parking was very compact.
