Lemon House exceeded our expectations for a B&B. Christel's attention to detail is unmatched-- every detail is perfect. The house is beautiful and pristine. Our room was well appointed with beautiful linens and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had recently been redone, and was modern and sleek. Lots of hot water with good pressure and a shower that was easy to use (that is not always true today!). Christel set up our tour of Mt. Etna and gave us a personalized itinerary for the day, including dining choices, routing, and attractions we should see. She did the same for our visit to Taormina, and when we left, she provided us with a list of restaurants around the region. Her recommendations were excellent and she did not steer us wrong. Most of all, Christel was extremely kind and welcoming and made us feel at home in her home. I can't say enough about her professionalism. Breakfast was another lovely feature. It is served in a beautiful sun room, is set up impeccably, and she cooks eggs to order. Just perfect.

This was our first visit to Savoca, Italy, and we are more than grateful to the host, Mrs. Christel, for her warm welcome and making us feel like visiting relatives while visiting Sicily. Lemon House has spacious and modern rooms, the bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, the breakfast buffet has various HOMEMADE spreads and jams (among other things) and the host herself (!) makes you the eggs of your choice (again, several different options you can choose from). Both rooms we had for the stay had an amazing view along with a terrace/balcony you can use to gather your impressions at the end of the day (plus if you have someone in your family who smokes, as I do, they don't have to leave the premises to have a smoke). There's also a private swimming pool in the backyard with lounge chairs and umbrellas to use during the hot days. If you come by car, you can leave it in front of the house—no need to worry about the parking space and safety—always in sight. Last but not least, the famous Bar Vitelli is no more than 5 minutes away, and Mrs. Christel gives you all the needed information/directions and advice on where to go and what to see once you get there. In the end...we thought this would be our first and last visit to Savoca. Boy, were we wrong.

Everything was above all expectations!

10 out of 10! If we could we would give 11. We knew what to expect after reading the reviews but still the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The place was very clean and quiet so we could enjoy the time at the pool and relax in the evenings. The breakfast was diverse and beautifully presented. Every day, Christel, with a smile on her face, offered us coffee or freshly prepared eggs in various styles. She always had time for a small chat, gave us great advices on planning attractions in different cities, and even prepared a list of recommended restaurants! The personal touch and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. That was one of the best hospitality and service we ever experienced!

This place has just an incredible atmosphere - a noble combination of luxury and coziness. The room, the house and the whole area are very well maintained, smells nice everywhere, great pool. The breakfast concept also left us impressed. The only thing I would point out is the shower room, which looks a bit dated compared to all the other lustre around you. However, this did not stop us from enjoying our stay and having a great time. Christelle and Emma, you are an incredible family, thank you for your hospitality! :)

An absolutley perfect B&B Hotel for a Sicilian adventure. From initial contact after booking through to departure, Christel has been absolutely fantastic, she is very accommodating and helpful with travel advise for day trips. Each day she would offer suggestions based on what we wanted to, and make any tour and restaurant reservations for us, this was absolutely invaluable to us, saving us so much time and allowing us to pack the most into our one week holiday. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable and wants for nothing. The rooms, decor and facilities are to a very high standard and it is probably the best small B&B hotel that we have ever stayed in, such a first class personal service. The hotel is perfectly placed to explore Toamina, Etna, Savoca, Catania and all of the North Eastern Sicily. Now breakfast each day is something else, an array of choices from Sicilian meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurt, breads etc and you will be even offered eggs of your choice, expertly cooked by Emma the head breakfast chef. Thank you Emma! If you are looking at North East Sicily, we would highly recommend the Lemon House. So do not hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed!

Nothing the hotel was perfect

We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Lemon House, be prepared to experience a fabulous Bed & Breakfast! The English home is just exceptional, pristine and full of love. The owner Christel and her lovely teen daughter Emma are truly warm and caring, they make you feel like family right from the start. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the plush bed came with luxurious linens and ours had French doors overlooking the handsome, rectangular turquoise pool. The breakfast was not only beautifully displayed but very tasty, high quality and vast. Emma prepared the best delicious gourmet eggs and great cappuccinos! ; ) Christel is fantastic. A classy lady that speaks almost every language and pays great attention to detail was super helpful with planning our stay in Savoca. She provided us an excellent list of restaurants and beach clubs in the near and kindly helped book all reservations for us. Every placed we visited was top notch! Lemon House is about only a 20-min car ride to Taormina, perfect for a day at the beach club or exploring the city and returning home to lovely dinners at the beautiful Sicilian villages. Parking is always available, secure and free of charge on the street just outside the House. Our stay at Lemon House was a very special time and one we will never forget. Thank you Christel and Emma! Wonderful host Christel! you feel very welcome. She went above and beyond explaining what to see, where to park, what is the best way to see Savoca, Taormina, Castelmola... The House itself is beautiful, you can find everything you need and more. Breakfast had so many delicious choices so hard to pick. The swimming pool was also great but we didn't use it much. A wonderful stay for our 10th wedding anniversary. The Lemon House is a beautiful, peaceful base to explore this part of Sicily and you have your very own holiday planner at hand in the form of Christel. Christel is what makes the Lemon House exceptional. She recommends, plans and books the perfect outings, tailoring it to your needs. The breakfast is also excellent!

Lemon house is nicely situated a quick walk or car ride from Savoca. The property is clean and Christel and her staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Suggest you try the homemade eggplant spread! Breakfast area is cozy and easy. You can for sure find something you like! Christel was also really helpful booking restaurants and provide suggestions on what to do in the area. Strongly suggest to walk up to Savoca, stop for an ice cream and then proceed to the next town and down to Chiesa di San Pietro church and then back to Lemon House. A nice round and you get to experience the small towns in the area!

Super boutique B&B with very personal service incl. recommendations for sites, restaurants, excursions. Carefully chosen, excellent breakfast buffet that is unbelievable for such a small business. The same is true for its pool. The owner's hospitality is unparalleled and the result of love and extensive travel industry knowledge.
