Owner was friendly and cooked a very delicious breakfast. Room is spacious with comfortable bed. Many things in the room were relatively new and still very clean. Location is on a quiet street, but not too far from all the restaurants and attractions. Biking storage available in the rear garden.

Although the room looks like it was renovated recently and is very pretty and clean, it is not very functional. For example, the room door does not close very easily and gets stuck on the floor, and the shower door is not aligned and will not close properly. Also, the hotel is not bad, but at this price, almost all the other hotels I've stayed at in the Netherlands have a front desk and lobby to help with check-in, whereas this hotel is self-check-in

The room was very well arranged and cozy. The sound of the bird in the morning was stunning, like a fairytale.

The breakfast options could be enhanced a bit, especially for those who have to work and can’t come too late. It would be great to offer something that accommodates everyone's schedule!

Great location, comfortable bed easy exit and entry and free parking not far away - all in all very nice….

Not “didn’t like” as can’t complain but “observations” - we had 4 nights and it would have been nice to have a chest of draws to unpack our small cases into - maybe other rooms do - the morning drinks facility could sit on top of the draws as I needed to kneel down to use it ! As an English couple we would have liked Breakfast Tea bags and a small pot of milk which was kindly provided when we asked - we don’t drink wine in the morning! - apart from that nice people with a great hotel👍

Gorgeous room but if mobility is not your strong point then it’s not for you as the stairs were pretty steep… did not spoil our experience though We were welcomed on arrival and helped with our luggage 👌 Would return to this hotel as it was the perfect location for exploring too

Middelburg is an amazing city with a lovely city center. And the hotel itself is located in the beautiful old town and quiet small street. The hotel is just renovated but it still has an old town-building atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful and have a romantic vibe with a view outside the garden. And the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We had a short but amazing stay and we definitely are back if we have a chance and perhaps when passing by again on the next cycle trip to the Netherlands.

It’s a beautiful property in an amazing location and our garden view over the back and church was a pleasure to wake up to. The host and her daughter (And their dogs) made us both feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

The breakfast buffet offered great choice. The manager and owners were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The interior design was individual to each room and beautiful.

This is a new hotel and there are still a couple of small snagging issues but nothing that affected our stay. The hotel is advertised as having parking on Booking.com but this is a 10 minute walk away.

I had a lovely stay - the room was comfy, the breakfast very abundant, and the owner is a gem. The hotel is very well situated in town, and there's a free parking lot about 10 minutes away by foot. I was lucky enough to be upgraded, and communication was fluid. Thanks again for a wonderful time :)

Well located, just a few minutes by walk from the city center. The breakfast was good, but could be a bit more to choose.

The room on the ground floor was a very noisy. Doors located in front of the front door and the floor above head was creaking

The room was small with the bathroom (including toilet) being part of the room. This with wooden walls and no doors. Therefore a little uncomfortable / noisy when visiting the toilet.
